  • he looks like the evil guy from die hard 4 lolol :P

  • I love how he talks about putting the snare on 2 and 4 (a very rock beat thing to do). Count it. That's right the snare is only on 3...

  • @doopunk no its not?

  • @vvfootball51 i Know. no ones perfect you know

  • tunnnnne your kitt. specially your snaree.

  • @xXpartiiallnightXx

  • no, you don't get it. a lot of times, these so called "experts" really don't know how to teach, or give the false information. a lot of times, they suck.

  • lol good name ^^^

  • boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tbh I was surprised when I looked at the comments to find that some of you actually do not know what traditional grip is.

  • what you guys don't realize that he's got better technique than most of you

he's using the tradition grip for his left hand.

  • playing drum kit doesn't matter so much about technique. Its not marching band. check out stanton moore. great jazz player, horrible left hand technique but he is comfortable. That is what set is about. this guy goes fine, except for the whole "put the music away" thing.

  • The technique is mostly used for you to play faster, and yes technique matters a lot when you are playing the kit.

  • @drumtime24 It's all about technique...what are you talking about?

Ever heard of stick control? Meditative practice pad work that's all about developing technique to be most efficient in drumming. I can tell you now that Stanton and most all professional drummers (I don't mean rock drummers) have most likely intensely studied out of the stick control book and others solely to work on technique before they work on solos, coordination, all that.

  • dude, you are drumming way wrong. you are holding the sticks wrong, and those are easy

  • i dont think there is a right or wrong way to hlold the sticks. You should hold them the way you want you and the way you feel comfoprtable. I hold mine different than him but thats not saying im right and hes wrong or hes right and im wrong.

  • Koshey245 are you actually so mentally retarded and know absolutely nothing about drumming that he is holding the stick in his left hand in the traditional grip. Do research before you star speaking from your ass

  • awesome!
