  • This is the same version as Chuck Berry's. I like this one, a little better than Chuck's, but I still like Elvis' version best. Yes, you can understand the lyrics. Something that is hard to do with a lot of songs. F.W. had a way of singing that you could understand very clearly. Finally found his version of Cowsills Indian Lake. Hadn't heard it in about 30 years, but I still remembered it! He's just so smooth!

  • Great song by Chuck Berry and this is probably my favorite version next to his.

I like Presley's, but not the Johnny Rivers version.

  • i grew up on this stuff as a kid in the 70's dad would play it all the time love the memories thank you ever so much

  • Excellent!!!!.

  • GREAT SONG thanks for posting this is real country music

  • Met Freddy a few times, actually cut one of his songs back in '92 to try to get a deal. He's a really nice guy and very talented but the bottom line is ELVIS PRESLEY has the definitive version of this and Chuck Berry's is obviously great as well. I wish there was there was an actual video of EP doing this song. When we do it we do the EP version. I may get somebody to film us doing it so we can post it.

  • my favorite version of this song. love it thanks for the post

  • A very good rendition of this evergreen Rock & Roll tune. Thanks for sharing.

  • More Freddy Weller vids please!!!

  • One of my absolute all-time faves. I had recorded it off radio a few years back, on an a to z (oldies) show, here in K.C. on a now-extint station. But I had to switch discs so I lost 15 to 20 seconds. This sounds at least similar to the radio (studio) version. Elvis also has a decent version, but I liked F.W.'s rendition/s much more. I'm surprised it took until just lately for someone to post anything with it. But then, people's tastes have gone downhill in all phases of life. Glad it's on here.
