I think mooji's pointing has become much sharper since this time. I love his immense sensitivity in starting from where his visitors are at, yet in this video he seemed to engage-dismiss her issue without directing her attention to awareness. Concepts and sensations arise in our awareness, full stop. All else is mind created stories attached to these, also appearing in awareness. Emotions may seem contagious, but 'your' emotions and 'mine' both appear in & are not independant from 'I' awareness.
I saw Mooji behave in a similar way in another satsang when a woman, after having discovered to be awareness, wanted again to talk about it, going in her head when Mooji had said not to talk about it. My intuition is a master is limitless love, but when the ego tries to pass a limit, in trying to have or incorporate, this same love is expressed as a barrier, drawing a limit, almost presenting itself as "untouchable", to throw the person back to itself. Deep inquiry stuff. Thanks Mooji
On December 24,2006 at 8 o’clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn’t come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn’t repost a chain letter.if you don’t repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. sorry don’t wanna die
@hatton314 it isn't this woman that has the pain. She is exploring and asking questions that many people have in allowing awareness to exist. Those who feel annoyance, sympathy for Mooji or any other negative reaction are they themselves struggling and need to allow these situations exist without connecting.
The way is not for everyone. I think some people come here to find flaw in what Mooji says, and when you look from your own limited perspective this is very easy to do... But others come here and continue coming here because Mooji is simply eloquently verbalizing the same realizations we have already come to in our hearts but are still looking for a way to explain it to the mind. This is where the power of Mooji comes in. He can strip away all but what the mind can understand. it's not 4 every1
I think she is talking about bearing the suffering of others worse than they bear their own suffering, as Mooji has spoken on this before.. She sounds very honest to me.. just trying to figure herself out...
I feel the same way too. I felt something unbalanced in him. Anyway, I learned to verbilized what is percieved by me - their feelings, yes, it is ice-y, because they may feel offended or naked - but if they are there true self - they wouldn't, 'cause it is just ego protection. Most of the time helps just to be aware of your feelings (even if what you feel is not yours) and the relief comes from this realization - that what you feel is not yours and it is your choice how you feel to respond to it
I think I've experienced a very similar problem and can empathise(!) with the lady in the video. I am receiving excellect help through a Karuna trained psychotherapist who is helping me learn about my boundaries, and helping to bring my energy/awareness back into my body - why it doesn't want to be there is another story altogether! I am feeling a degree of understanding and control for the first time ever - which feels great.
I have experienced this level of sensitivity, to the point where I really couldn't function anymore. I tried to 'ignore it; be 'mindful' of it, and accept the 'bad feelings'. Okay... but I still couldn't function. Eventually I saw a psychotherapist (core-process); we have been working with my energy - helping me to draw it back into my body - again and again. I feel more in control than I ever have, and have a much better understanding of what on earth this is.
I am happy that I am not mooji myself, because I would be deadly tired of listening to all these people and hear myself talking all the time, but still watching the videos because I like the sound of the voice and the very african way/manners he has.
I think to do so would then block those sinces and make to numb or blind to what is going on around you. I also have this gift. It has overwhelmed me and coused much stress and heart ache in my life. Even to the point of illness until I removed myself from it. But its not always that strong or bad, that for example was the company I kept. But to being intune with others also gives you the gift of there intentions. Witch I don't think you should ignore, ever!
@jablankey, I'm sick right now because of it. So yes, at this time, I'd rather be numb. But truthfully, I'd just rather have the normal sensitivities that the rest of the world has.
@amberfwn but he would if you asked (or should say describe symptoms of so-called psychotic illnesses which I can almost guarantee you exude to some small degree), and then you would have the mindset you say you desire.
This is a perfectly acceptable thing to do if only experimentally.
@Seedr0, I've already asked my dr. if there was any type of drug like this and he stated no. I also am not psychotic at all and I will not act that way just to get them.
@jablankey, I would enjoy the numbest (not completely numb) just what others experience, then I would not be in so much pain 24/7. Also remember, you're not in my shoes so you are not experiencing what I am.
@amberfwn No I am not in your shoes. And, you are not in any other's shoes. You don't know what others experience any more than I know what you experience.
When I saw this video and heard her story i got a knot in my stomach, and by the end I was crying, crying for her, but mostly, mainly because for the first time I heard someone who is like me, that i know there are people like me out there, that I'm not crazy or just an emotional wreck and that there are things that can be done to shield myself from the pain i take unconsciously from others but still be able to help them.
One thing that has worked for me as an empath was to raise my vibration/frequency. I've learned this during my spiritual journey (only to hear mediums say the same) - once you have raised your vibration, you certainly are no longer in tuned to people who vibrate on lower frequencies.
I radiate JOY and people who are on lower frequencies are like little "gnats" to me! It so much easier to just walk away without feeling completely drained or devasted.
I would add. Feel the "bad" sensation. Do not run, hide from or try to control the "bad" sensation. No fear just let the sensation truly express itself and feel it. Be sensitive to it and the silent witness in you will witness it. When it is truly witnessed. The "bad" sensation no longer has any power over you. It may take a few tries to be courageous and try this but it will work. One Love
first of all it is just one person speaking, so it doesn't need to be associated with everyone there or with the region they're in. and what would be the point of making that association? doesn't it serve judgment?
secondly, instead of seeing her as arrogant we could see "her" mind as experiencing some restlessness and fear which causes her to interrupt and so forth. see how Mooji just works with it without reacting. blessings. .thank you.
wow. I've never been to a satsang, but if she was considered arrogant, what are most satsangs like? She was trying to udnerstand.. not disagree with anything. If she doesn't understand, then what's the point of just agreeing with the concepts he's talking about? It would be completely useless.
The lips of the righteous teach many, but fools die for want of wisdom.

Mooji, all anyone has to do is observe how you accommodate exactly where a person is at. You are the real deal, and so very kind.
Any practitioner is going to hit a fog bank, go through it and let it fade. Takes awhile depending on the current challenge.
Consider how that might be entering satsang with some intense competing belief system. Belief is a problem in itself, but Mooji doesn't reject.
Moogi, please accept this one (me) as your student. I love you in any case old, old friend.

The woman speaking is in pain because of her desire to control. Lets hope she sees past it soon! :)

@amberfwn i have to ask, what on earth would you enjoy, being numb? sensitivity is necessary for experience, of pleasure or pain. no?

@amberfwn then do all the numbing prescriptions doc hands to you, you will have "the normal sensitivities that the rest of the world has"
That is the mindset we inherit by default, but, can easily grow beyond when we try.
Keep in mind I see no shame in attaching to the default mindset, it's merely a choice.

And you are getting off on putting other people down. Could be a Superiority EGO complex??? Maybe?
Her comments were not intrusive.
They were a continuation on her perceived story and that is exactly what she needed help with.
Your perception about her being ignorant was a refletion of your own mind. And that is what you needed help with.
