The shuttle project alone, at the time it was in devalopment was controversial, even then NASA had to deal with what they had to work with and how they would get the support that they needed.
NASA has contributed to advances in technology and will continue to do so. The problem is also figuring out how to get that done, given what you have to work with.
That is part of the real Challenge, given big government or not.
That said, how do we get it done...and get it done with a sound mind!
I'm sure cutting the Nasa Budget was not an easy choice, Having to cut any budget, especially one that does so much for the science and education community or any program for that matter, cannot be an easy choice to live with.

The shuttle project alone, at the time it was in devalopment was controversial, even then NASA had to deal with what they had to work with and how they would get the support that they needed.
NASA has contributed to advances in technology and will continue to do so. The problem is also figuring out how to get that done, given what you have to work with.
That is part of the real Challenge, given big government or not.
That said, how do we get it done...and get it done with a sound mind!

I'm sure cutting the Nasa Budget was not an easy choice, Having to cut any budget, especially one that does so much for the science and education community or any program for that matter, cannot be an easy choice to live with.
While I'm not happy about the Constellation project being canceled, NASA has alot of work that can still be done, despite the cut budget and new inovations in space travel can still be devaloped by NASA or other organizations.
