I also like Stuka art, well actually I paint war scenes, I might make some money, I might not, but those planes are screaming to be painted , ya know?
alot of stuka pilots took the siren mechanism off because it increased drag and slowed the plane down by ten or twenty knots, but they also fitted a very quick tubing on the ends of bomb fins so they also would screech like hell after being launched by the stuka, Pretty cool eh?
Im sure bestjonbon knows this already but wathing all the vids made for Heinz Migeod are simply astounding, the people hes met , like Kesselring, Rommel, Marseille, Rall , even Rudel. He was a very good Stuka pilot who survived the war only to meet the guy who shot him down twenty or so years later. Truly rewarding.
hello.i have been looking for a foamie junkers87,nobody seems to make a smaller foam one exept flyng styro,i bought one but was so dissapointed with it i sent it back i would be very gratefull if you or any one of your contacts know if its possible to buy one in THE USA.THANK YOU IN ANTICAPATION OF YOUR HELP.ROBERT SHAW
It isn't really classic art, zookatone, but it is war art. And only time will tell whether any of the individual paintings are considered true "art.' Maybe.
Thank you, Grumpypant! I'm just a guy who has always loved planes and flying, and so I used the art as an excuse to gather the images. There are lots of these on my website, if you're a true fan of warplanes.
As I drive around my local towns and cities, the today's "artworks" being dipayed are worthless toxic wastes (in my book); I would like to see Stuka images and models decorated everywhere...
"...so much is wasted from so many untalented!!!" --- said me, Grumpypant.
Great link; many pics I've never seen before! Vielen Dank!!

Thank you, whoever you are, for your great contribution to today's artworks!
Stroking a couple of paint brushes with cow dung isn't exactly Michaelangelo's backalley!!!

the siren did't matter when there was a spitfire behind it filling it with lead.sending its crew to a fiery death.

Yes, and I've got a Spitfire video coming up next week.
