I thought he looked pretty cool in MK4, but he obviously lacked original moves. His MKA redesign was... okay, I guess. The lasso moves were a bit ass though. If they're ever going to bring him back, they should stick to his MK4 design, but give him some better moves. Hell, they could make him an all-out thug if they wanted to.
