This is not completely true. There have been many instances of assimilation of converts to judaism, from Syrians and Arabs to Khazars to the Berbers, not to mention the Falashin. The nature of scientific research is it must be replicable. These tests have replicable results.
Nevertheless, the presence of these "Jewish" or "Middle Eastern" genetic markers is not what makes one Jewish or non-Jewish. One can be a 100% bona fide Jew through conversion and conviction and have no ancient Jewish or Israelite descent, or one can have "Jewish" genes and not be Jewish.

Actually, most European Jews are mixed, descended from people who arrived in Europe in the Middle East via various routes over hundreds of years. Your thesis is easily falsified by the fact that (A) many Arabs are also light-skinned and they don't "trace their ancestry to Europe" and (B) as was pointed out, more than half of the Israeli-Jewish population is not of European-Jewish origin (and also many of the Ashkenazi Jews of central and Eastern European origin also tend to have swarthy, dark so-called "Mediterranean" complexions). When one looks for the genetic markers indicating Middle Eastern heritage on the Y chromosome one finds them extensively among present-day Middle Eastern population groups (Arabs, Kurds, Mizrahi Jews) as well as Ashkenazi Jews whose ancestors lived in places like Poland & Germany. One rarely finds these haplotypes occurring with non-Jewish Germans or Poles, though.

This is not completely true. There have been many instances of assimilation of converts to judaism, from Syrians and Arabs to Khazars to the Berbers, not to mention the Falashin. It is also fairly evident that intermarriage and conversion of Europeans has occured; blue eyes and blond hair are not a semitic trait. The Sephardim have also absorbed the Romaniotes and also interbred with the Ashkenazim. Not all Ashkenazim have the J1/J2 haplotype.
