I'm not impressed with 60 minutes. It's a show for lightweights. Yes, Indians have made a lot of progress in last 40 years. Great. But a lot of people are making too much of this. Do we import Indian Brainpower? Yes to a certain extent we do just like we import brainpower from Europe. But the reason for the vast majority of Engineers and Scientists come from India is that they will work for a lot less than Americans. We have all the smart people we need here if we would just develop the talent.

Its a shame that these brain power should be used for our own country, but blame our fucking corrupt government if our country was developed our Indian people will stay.
But this will change soon, as Indian is developing, slowly but surely.

The Indian government subsidizes IIT fees and most of the IIT graduates want to go to foreign countries? Are they paying back the money to the Indian government? It is very sad to see how Nehru created IIT for the benefit of India, and how it is benefiting other countries today.

At 3:40 , those students are so happy to leave the country. This is not what it should be. I agree that the IIT is the best in our country, but only in the coursework department. Not in motivating them to stay and develop our country! This has to change quickly.
