anyone saying this sounds like a wu-tang parody, doesn't really know much rap. this is the backpacker style that I actually don't like. Its all fitting in millions of syllables in a bar, not lyrical content.
@NIKFUQ To me, it comes off as a parody of Kool Keith/ Ultramagnetic/ Dr Octagon, Sir Menelik and the like. Random science-y words with non of it meaning anything.
you mean for the whole album or just this song? for this song, i think its both of them rapping, but its possible that its just jer.
but for the album its jer and blockhead on the vocals, and i don't know about the beats i'd think blockhead would do them, but i remember hearing one that was produced by someone else. so blockhead either produces some of them, or none of them. not all of them tho
@kardinalboogey89 its more about doseone and anticon, esoteric isnt that abstract, plus this is blockhead he wouldnt be dissin aesop rock, and busdriver is amazing i find it hard to believe that blockhead would target him on this cd

No, I'm am positive they are making fun of Wu-Tang. This different voices, the "Lyrical Fitness." I know what I'm talking about. Jedi Mind Tricks isn't nerd back packer music. Learn your shit before you start talking about something you know nothing about.
lol! i know blockhead personally. how about knowing that, lol. how about i know 1/2 of the creators of this album. KNOW THAT! lol. how about read an interview once in a while. theyve stated it. its a fact. and if you honestly think jedi mind isnt backpacker music 101 youre in denial.
The first guy sounds like Vinnie Paz and the third guy sounds a lot like Esoteric. I think the only the Wu reference is the execs work for "Bring the Ruckus Records"...
It's pretty obvious that they're making fun of Jedi Mind Tricks.
I can't see how someone would think of Wu-Tang when listening to this. Maybe it's that most backpackers started on the Wu-- the Voltron and Kung-Fu references made them more accessible.
