Dude! how the hell you get it to look so crisp? I'm pretty new at setting up the whole dreamcast emulator stuff, games run smooth on it but I cant quite remember which version of NullDC it is (at work at the moment so cant check) and my problem is that the edges are really pixeled for me. I'm using extra geometry but it still looks really pixelated. Playing it in windowed mode also. Is there a specific plugin you use to get it to look so high in quality? also what settings do you have it all on?
Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 is much better than the first. I'm not sure what Genki's up to these days, at least not since they discontinued the Shutokou Battle series back in 2006 (as well as shutting down the Genki Racing Project). The DC version of Soulcalibur remains one of the best fighting games, if not the best. Although Space Channel 5 Part 2 was re-released on XBLA/PSN, that was based on the PS2 version. With the wonders of NullDC, it's possible to witness the DC version in widescreen.
@alvieao2 I was so disappointed when i saw that sc5p2 on DC collection was ps2 version. Primarily because ps2 version has considerably worse colors, much less vivid.
If only Sega re-released Shenmue 1&2 for XBLA/PSN... Such a shame that Shenmue was criminally overlooked. We won't be seeing Sega resolve the second game's cliffhanger, apart from Ryo Hazuki's cameo appearance in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. It also doesn't help that Yu Suzuki left the company not too long ago.

VGA box and a DC console is why. Hook those two up to your VGA compatible TV and DC it up like a BOSS.
BTW, TheSC5, I'm not hating on your channel/vids Cool channel name 8-D. It gets people to see how nice DC was when not running on a regular TV. DC has a ton of fun interesting games. I think DC games ran VGA natively. What everyone one is seeing is what I've been seeing for 10 years on my VGA box.

No, not 1080, but from what I'm seeing on this end (yes, I am clicking on 1080) it really doesn't look all THAT much different than with my VGA box. It looks like the text might be a little sharper though. What I'm say is it's not like what I'm seeing with this 1080 vid is a night and day difference like from DC AV cables to VGA. I don't know the technical ins and outs of the EMU, but is it possible that what I'm seeing/saying is because the DC's hardware has a 480 cap?
Please to SEGA, when re-releasing Shenmue 1&2 on gaming console 20XX, make sure to include English subtitles with original Japanese soundtrack. Oh, yes.
@bullpalm I would not like to see any more Dreamcast games for this current gen, Sega botched it with what they released so far. now if they could do it correctly then yeah i would be all over it. but seeing what has been done so far i would not want to see Shenmue suffer the same.

That is if they don't file a lawsuit first. Emulators are illegal... one false move & you could have to pay 1000 bucks per game. That is the reason that I say as far away from that shit as humanly possible.

I'm not trying to rip your ass, but that is simply not true. Owning a game physical copy of a game doesn't change a thing. It is only legal if you are the one to make the copy of the game... downloading a copy of somebody else's game is still considered to be piracy as it is like you are taking 2 copies of a game (at least that is what some random judge said). People have been sued & lost over downloading Roms & from the net even though they had a copy of the game.

I am not a pirate, i dont give people clues on how to run these games on their PC or download links of these games. I am only posting some Dreamcast footage in full HD glory because i think it is intresting. That's all.
