When we were watching this in school, whole class was in some moments laughing. But I also felt a little embarrassed.

This is not about greed. It's about the Czech Republic joining the EU, and how this fact seems like a great spetacular fake, making people of fool. Will there be a Market? Is it really there? Or is it a spectrum, a lie? It looks to me like this video is what really happened and they staged the fake riot scene later to make the movie more exciting.

This film, this project, is an excellent exercise in the power of advertising... the Czech people are obviously enraged at it, but it displays the greed we all have, we are, as a society, incredibly greedy creature. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, as the woman said, it's a rude awakening, but it's a bloody brilliant one.

Actually, experiencing this Czech Dream commercial bombardment myself, I can honestly say that the Czech Republic has far surpassed the point of desperation for food and supplies.

But come on, you'll find these maniacal shoppers in every country.

Plus, I myself think it might be kind of fun to take part in this, not with the intention of saving money or getting free promotional stuff, but just for fun.
