Review: 2007 GMC Sierra

I've had my 2011 1500 Crew Cab Sierra 4x4 for two weeks. I just thought my 2000 Silverado drove like a dream until getting behind the wheel of this new GMC.

I'm keeping my 2000. It has only 112000 miles and never been in a shop. I'll pass it down to one of my kids. Great pickups although it sucks that GM couldn't manage their business affairs, they still make excellent trucks.

Mine has the 5.3 Iron block. I have the AFM also. I got 22 MPG on a 240 mile one way trip last summer. After that, I added a magnaflow exhaust (16741) and K&N intake (57-3058) to it. Not only was that a kick in the pants as far as performance goes, but on that same trip a month and a half later, I got just over 24 MPG. Mine is a 4x4 by the way also. I would love to see any other manufacturer put up those kind of numbers in a 4wd.

yea i'm headin out to college soon and will most likely be gettin a reg cab but i thought extended wouldn't be too bad either. you drive on the highway a lot? cause thats really good mileage for any truck
