My biggest problem with bobcat is their radiator and Hydraulic cooler. they plug up with hay and silage and what ever all the time. plus bobcats are so freaking hard to work on. Cat isn't much better but their radiators are easier to clean. Deer is the best i personally think.
@kyler309 I hear ya, I switched from Bobcat to Cat years ago for the same reason, Cat never gave me any of the grief the Bobcat gave me, but I still prefer the Takeuchi's over anyone else just for their simplicity.
@69rd96 we us S250s for feeding and heavy work around the dairy but are looking at gehl or deere but something bigger ans stronger. the main things i look for is where the radiators are, how easy is it to work on and power to the ground.
sure a botcat i good for farmers like you but what happens when you need to lift somthing really heavy or need to clean out a big straw shed it would take you ages, but i will give that it would be really good for getting into aall of our small sheds without worry of hitting into somthing
i have had CAT, GEHL, JOHN DEERE AND BOBCAT skid steers and i have to say that Bobcat is by far the most dependable and the easiest to work on of all of them. i wouldnt know what i would do without my s175 i have now. its a 2004 and has 1390 hours and starts all winter long in iowa. great video
@1redneckdodgeman Good for you, I hope you weren't responsible for the build of my Bobcat T190 back in June/July 2003, if I ever track the assholes who built that piece of shit, I'll run them down in a Cat skid steer.
I build roll out bucket for a company in Nor Cal and i have to say that i really like the design of this bobcat series bucket. the wrap around carriage and side mounted hydraulics are clean and give maximum bucket capacity
Them tyres are abit bald arn't they?
