Yeh, I think that if Chris Brown was stable and had accepted responsibility for his behavior PERIOD, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES SHE BROUGHT IT UP, he should have been about to handle the interview much better. He went on BET and totally down played the inappropriate violent way he behaved. it is more than saying 'oh yeh, sorry if I scared some folk, I should't have acted like that really." UMMM NO SHIT. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF RIRI AND LEFT HER TO DIE IN A FUCKING PARKING LOT.
I say fair play! Why continue to ask questions about something that happened 2 years ago (at the time) ..I would be extremely pissed off if someone kept asking me about it!
Patrick Stewart's story of his childhood puts things in the right light: “Our house was small, and when you grow up with domestic violence in a confined space you learn to gauge, very precisely, the temperature of situations. I knew exactly when the shouting was done and a hand was about to be raised – I also knew exactly when to insert a small body between the fist and her face, a skill no child should ever have to learn.... (CNTD)
@amsaric ... CNTD 2... Curiously, I never felt fear for myself and he never struck me, an odd moral imposition that would not allow him to strike a child. The situation was barely tolerable: I witnessed terrible things, which I knew were wrong, but there was nowhere to go for help. Worse, there were those who condoned the abuse. I heard police or ambulancemen, standing in our house, say, “She must have provoked him,” or, “Mrs Stewart, it takes two to make a fight.” They had no idea... (CNTD)...
@amsaric ...CNTD 3... The truth is my mother did nothing to deserve the violence she endured. She did not provoke my father, and even if she had, violence is an unacceptable way of dealing with conflict. Violence is a choice a man makes and he alone is responsible for it.”
The man is a Knight. It's incredible the kind of son he became being raised by a father like that... He should be knighted. Seriously. We are lacking these quality men in this world.
He Said He Was Sorry Gtfo Damn ! I Admit What He Did Was Wrong . But Thats The Past Some Of You Mfckers Most Likely Dont Know The Whole Fucking Story Rihanna Aint All That Innocent She Played A Big Part In This Shit Too !
I'm sorry but I really am trying to like Chris Brown but he definitely looks really angry in the GMA interview with Robyn. I think if he just took the time to talk about why he did what he did to someone he loved then we might understand him better. He seems to just make the same sweeping statements in interviews like "I'm sorry" or "I wish I could change that night". He evidently has not dealt with his anger issues therefore people still are unwilling to truly forgive him. I felt after Rihanna
did the interview with Diane Sawyer that I hard a new found respect for her because she discussed in detail the reasons why she went back to Chris in Miami. This was the thing that let her fans down but she went through the process of discussing it for her fans which helped everyone to understand her decisions. I think if Chris did the same this could turn things around for him but to be honest I don't think he has the ability. He brushes over the subject as if it wasn't that big of a deal.
It surprises me how many people say "forgive him! Everyone is human, and everyone makes these mistakes!"
When, in reality, beating up women, throwing tantrums, and destroying property is NOT something most people do. 0____o Doing that kind of stuff is not a "human mistake" at all. Why are so many people defending such horrors? As someone that has seen a woman get beaten bloody- it is NOTHING to forget or defend.
@ZeeZxx But once you hit a woman your a loser point blank. Real Men don't hit women and just because he 's famous we all say lets forgive him but if it was a guy working at the corner store that beat his GF or wife then we would all be like Put him in jail... People put famous people on pedestals like Gods. There nothing better then you and me and the bum on the corner.
Wat? This will pass just like the other CRIMINAL OFFENSE huh GMA? I dont think so...next time he will get his revenge and he is gonna do what he should have done last time.. bust you all up and roundhouse you behind the stage..It will be closest thing to Cactus Jack and Mankind. .Get ready !..and oh by the way.. F.A.M.E to my enemies !
Yeah right Chris - Positive music with a rage the size of a TITAN ! This guy should not be allowed anywhere near a GIRL! . Also girls do not forget that he is a karate student. he can cut you up & get you busted in a min..But dont worry its only for defense..And he loves props..Windshield,Glass Windows, chairs are his favorite. Chris is soo angry that he hair turn yellow!!..He fuckin Dragon ball Z or black hulk now.. U think GOD OF WAR is angry?.Wait till you meet the GOD OF ANGER - CHRIS BROWN
You can't get the world to forgive, forget and move on. If this guy wants peace, he needs to forgive himself and move on. Never forget, but move on. That fact that people asking about it (AND THEY WILL AND THEY HAVE THAT RIGHT) makes him bloody destroy a studio is proof that the only person who really needs to forgive and move on is Chris Brown himself. And then no matter what anyone says, he'll be able to keep his cool and that will be proof that he's a changed man.
I don't think it should "pass" like they say. I don't think his actions, words, or felony horrors should be forgotten. I think the memory should still forever be there to remind him of what he did.
@Zolazora32 It is and always will be. His outburst is a clear indicator of his guilt and lack of self control when it comes to anger management. The guy has serious issues and needs to work really closely with a shrink because that kind of behaviour ISN'T NORMAL.
the reason why hes bugging out is because people are bringing up shit that happend fuckin three years ago. yea it was fucked up that he abused her BUT IT HAPPEND 3 YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. people just wont shut up and just leave him alone. and u know what screw rihanna because if anyone say the channel 7 news there is a pictures and a video of a sex tape so if she gets pounded again oh well thats her fault if u dont belive me look it up on GOOGlE
@suppersouthparkkid Fair enough, I say. He should realize that no amount of apologies will ever make up for it. It SHOULD haunt him for the rest of his days. I agree people shouldn't continue bringing it up all the damn time, but he's going pretty much unpunished for a very horrible crime.
He's right, no matter what he does, no one wants him to have his shine. He's a talented singer and performer, I don't see why he can't be recognized for that. Its actually really sad, because there is only so much someone can take. Its like for every piece of success he gets, there's someone there to stomp on it. Not saying what he did was right, but I think its time people put the past in the past. In the end, GMA was wrong for bringing it up when the initial goal was to promote the album.
@brenduhjonas12 Thanks for you insight 12 year old 'Jonas' fan. I bet you have a real solid world view and a good grasp on human morales! Your generation will be the end of this planet I swear.
@Cheebahh first im not 12 or a jonas fan anymore..and for your information at least i know the meaning of forgiving and its not our job to judge we would be hypocrites doing that..we dont fuckin know him or rihanna so stop judging him like u know him or something...And I do have a real solid world view!!
Wasn't there an increase in security at the GMA set because if I had a volatile immoral batterer near me I would be smart enough not to think twice about taking "precautions!" GMA is a joke and Chris Brown deserves felonious charges or he will keep thinking, "next time, I will get away with it again."
Chris Brown committed a FELONY. He is vile. You can't go around beating/assaulting a woman because you sing. People who defend him are PROJECTING their own issues. Some are embarrassed they engage in a lowly & trashy behavior w/ no self-respect, so they feel better when they defend Batterers like Chris Brown. By minimizing the vile & disgusting evil they can pretend their issues r not warranted judgment too. That's why the justice system exists. You're dumb.
Also who's to say that Rihanna the girl who wrote S&M a song about masochism and sadism didn't provolke him so ya know what they all need some kind of therapy, something up Freud's ally or Carl Jung with some anger management classes. Either way it's best for us and them to stop complaining about the problems and fix them before they get worse and we can help by supporting them getting help either through charity or just emotional support.
@UpturnTheUncool Chris Brown committed a FELONY.
@UpturnTheUncool Personally? I don't like Rihanna at all, but dude, you've got issues if you think there ever is a good reason to beat up a person weaker than you are. IT'S NEVER OKAY TO HURT SOMEONE.
@amsaric I don't think it's okay at all I just think people should get over it (two years at the time) three years is long enough to move on with our lives. I didn't even like Chris Brown for the longest time but I knew that a by gone was a by gone...
@UpturnTheUncool Get over it? Two years? For beating a woman? Are you kidding? Only two types of people can beat a person weaker than themselves: Sociopaths and people with sociopathic features (like complete lack of self-control in moments of anger). THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS to themselves and others. They need help. They definitely don't need everyone to pretend everything is okay with their mental state.
@amsaric I could've sworn I said both he and Rihanna needed therapy. But just in case I didn't let me say ot again, they both need therapy. You're right their psychological problems shouldn't be overlooked so they need this therapy to stop it from happening again, but two years is enough time to get over this and try to move on. Plus I'm sure Rihanna had to have been provolking him, the song S&M and some of her interviews reveal that. Still people should stop dwelling so much on the bad
@UpturnTheUncool I agree with you and everything that you said except for the S&M thing. People who are "practicers" of S&M are people who are choosing to enter into a sexual relationship based on their preferences sexually. It doesn't mean it is violence against a woman. I think too many people get that confused with domestic violence. It isn't. I think the more puritanical thinking in this country make it hard for some people to understand health diverse forms of sexuality.
@Dygsdoll No I understand-maybe I may have used it in the wrong way but it KIND of suggests what she MAY like outside of sex or possibly what happened was a mistake during the process IDK. I think I may've used that ignorantly but I do know what it means. Thanks though for correcting me.
@amsaric & focus on the good. And no don't pretend like everything's great and wonderful, but don't keep bringing it up either, are you getting what I'm saying cause I feel as if I'm not being clear enough...
Geez these comments are harsh, a bit much if you ask me. Yes he should be in jail for what he did and yes he should pay for that window but since it's over and done GET OVER IT. But that doesn't mean that Chris is off the hook either he needs anger management therapy-no exceptions, his anger is a huge problem for his career and I don't wanna see anyone fall in anyway.
Hmmm...he first apologized for battering a woman, for being violent, said he was very, very sorry & that's not who he really is...then TWO YEARS LATER (plenty of time to cool off?), he is asked about it & he gets all violent again? Then apologizes again. Needed to release his anger? 3 words: Anger Mgmt Therapy. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Being asked about that situation is NOTHING compared to the jail time he could have gotten. Grow up.
It's disgusting how Chris Brown has a defense force against this disgusting crime. People are really willing to defend a man who beat his wife severely and is still still gets mad enough to wreck shit after an interview? This country has some awful people in it.
@CoolDrMoney She's not even his wife first off. Obviously what he did was shameful and 100% wrong but who are you to judge? None of us are perfect. Rihanna has forgiven him and moved on, so has Chris. Why can't you? All of you are hypocrites and it's astonishing that people can't understand there's such a thing as making mistakes and learning and growing from them. Move on and grow up!
@rachelx1129 You are part of the problem. Best of luck to you. I hope that your apathy isn't contagious.
And it's obvious Chris Brown hasn't learned from his mistake. Partially because of the bewildering and almost sympathetic response he's gotten from the public. Here's an article that can articulate it better than myself. Since it's youtube, I can't like it but if you really want to read it all you can google it:
@rachelx1129 "I’m frustrated that the mainstream media is covering this story like it’s any comeback story, like an exiled prince’s return to a former glory, like this is another political timeline — as though some rich and powerful old white men in the music business have not just issued an enormous ‘f**k you’ to every woman who has been, is or will be on the receiving end of domestic violence."
@CoolDrMoney That's one of the best articles on the topic. The author did an amazing job being completely objective and without judging. She just spoke the truth.
@rachelx1129 I was a full-time entertainment writer at the time, so I had a front-row seat to the action. This is what I expected: I expected a string of celebrities to comment on how horrific this situation was, how sad and angry they were for Rihanna, how domestic violence is unacceptable in any context, how as a nation we need to condemn this and condemn it loudly.
@rachelx1129 "Instead, Hollywood went silent and, when they did speak, they teetered on the brink of defending Chris Brown. Carrie Underwood: “I don’t think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice.”
Lindsay Lohan: “I have no comment on that. That’s not my relationship. I think they’re both great people.” Nia Long: “I know both of them well. They’re young, and all we can do is pray for them at this point.”" etc.
@rachelx1129 "Later in February, a photo of Brown riding a jet ski in Miami hit the Internet, and singer Usher was caught on video commenting on it: “I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher says in the video. “After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
The backlash was so severe that Usher was later forced to publicly apologize."
@rachelx1129 "And, this week, Grammy producers confirmed that Chris Brown will be performing on Sunday’s show. “We’re glad to have him back,” said executive producer Ken Ehrlich. “I think people deserve a second chance, you know. If you’ll note, he has not been on the Grammys for the past few years and it may have taken us a while to kind of get over the fact that we were the victim of what happened.”
Read that quote again. Think hard about what is being said. "
@rachelx1129 "Accepting that Chris Brown gets to perform at the Grammys because some people bought his album is no different from accepting that women without health insurance don’t get to be screened for breast cancer because some VP at Komen is anti-abortion. It may happen, but that doesn’t mean we should tacitly accept it. What if Chris Brown had hit your sister that night? Or your daughter?"
@rachelx1129 "We’re accepting the message that women just aren’t that important, that their health and their safety and their self-respect is only important until it stops being convenient for everyone. We should be angry about this, and we should be angry publicly about this."
Clearly you don't think it's a big deal for women to be abused if it's inconvenient for you or the music you listen to.
@rachelx1129 I'm doubtful you read all of that. In any case, people deserve 2nd chances, but the message we're sending is if you're a woman, it's alright to if you're beaten if it's inconvenient to us. You are worthless.
@CoolDrMoney I did read all of it. While I agree with you that domestic violence isn't an issue to just let fall by the wayside, I do believe in second chances. Am I saying forget it? Absolutely not. But no person has the right to judge him. He'll pay for his sins. God will judge him and if he's asked for forgiveness and changed his ways then great for him. But stop persecuting the guy. Love your neighbor.
@CoolDrMoney We dont support what he did. we support his music. Any fan that does support what he did is crazy. Dont think all fans support what he did.
@CoolDrMoney I agree - the fact that people idolize this guy is very sad - he is totally devoid of any personality - Of course people want to address the topic of two years ago. People r way too quick to forgive and the fact that he has a number 1 album after this disgusting act shows how shallow a lot of people really are.
Yes, Chris, people will try to take it away from you. Having talent does not justify hitting a woman in anger. You should be in jail. The fact that you are not is a travesty, and sends a clear message that no one will stand up against domestic violence if the offender is famous enough. That fact that you are allowed to perform without public outcry is utterly disgusting, and I feel shame and pity for the men and women who are willing to put women's rights back years by supporting you.
@ChrisBrownsGirl17 To relentlessly beat another in a fit of rage is inexcusable, no matter who does it. Not even five years have passed. He has shown no regret or remorse. His talent should not excuse his actions.
I believe in second chances. That means not having to spend the rest of your life in prison. Chris being welcomed back on the radio and TV is a huge slap in the face to anyone who has ever been abused. I refuse to stand for it.
@billyboymonks what are you talkin about he apologized many times! There were no excuses for his actions but he shouldnt be hated the rest of his life.
@starfire217 Chris Brown committed a FELONY. You're dumb.
naw man, chris brown childish as fuck, answer the damn questions and be a damn man, quit acting like a lil ass whinning boy, you a good ass singer, control your damn self. take some damn pills, with yo bipolar ass
@queennini8 No he dont actlike a dumb ass she shouldnt have kept asking about his past you can see hes mad an she kept pushing so there 4 stop worrying about it it happen 2 years ago like let it go he was dere to talk about his musi and she kept bringing up rhinna he no dumbass he was mad and had to cool off did it in a bad way but didnt hurt any1
It's time to focus on something much more relavent then this matter and move forward. Chris Brown is an awesome artist and yes has made some mistakes in the past but its time to move past this drama people.
I just think Chris Brown is gonna get away from everything just by saying 'Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to do it, it was my anger problems' He needs to be shown that it's not okay.
I will never buy his album or listen to his music.
@TheRigoDeleon Bitch? is that all you got? HA! and did i ever say he was right?? look at my post idiot. you're even dumber than i thought when i first saw what you wrote. by the way, when you said you didnt want to listen to him and basically nothing to do with him, by posting that you'll "comment on whatever the fuck you want" just makes you sound even more dumb and pathetic cuz youre wasting your time on someone you hate. LOSER. ;)
@sophienichelle It's cool, defend someone who is not only rude and has anger problems but also has hit a girl. Yeah it's his past and has "changed" but I stick to my opinion, he's dumb for showing his actions the way he did. The lady was wrong on asking, but he was also wrong on responding like that. I used to like Chris and his music, but it just seems like he's not going to learn. And yes, I post on what I wish, who are you to tell me otherwise of my opinion. Keeping it real. ;)
@TheRigoDeleon are you like retarded or something?! you said you dont wanna buy his music or listen to him... wtf are you doing here then? and i never said not to post here or whatevr the fuck you said. idc about your opinion of him. the only thng that bugs me is that you waste your time hating on him. seriously, get a life. no one needs this type of negativity. yea he made mistakes but no one evr said he was perfect. he's human like everyone else and ppl just need to get over that he screwd up
BAHAHA people are so stupid. some haters are acting like he hit YOU or something lmfao. in case yall didn't know, rihanna forgave him and they're friends now so what right do you have to talk shit when more than likely, you don't know neither of them personally or know the true story about what happened. and scandals like this has been going on in hollywood and with other celebrities for years, not just with CB and rihanna. sit your ass down move the fuck on.
@67Zaka she made him. if someone took the keys outa my car while im driving and throw thm onto the road i woulda slapped the shit outa tht bith but ayy thats just mee.:)
i dont see why she was askin questions cuz she was the first one to talk to him after the situation so her bringing it up again...smh.THATS WHAT CAUSED IT.we all know what happened but ppl stay double dippin in the past and start more sh!t. then you wanna get scared when he throws a cooler?? NO SWEETIE. wrong move. talk about the ALBUM not old sh!t. even when he said he didnt want to talk about it she kept aking questions and pushing him to talk anyway.
What people on their own trying make the man (Chris) have a profile, and say he broke a window at GMA out of blowing off some steam; instead of that incident with Rihanna being an isolated one that could've been worked out.
They say the tell celebrity's what the topics are going to be. And, he stressed he didn't wnat to talk about something that happened two years ago, but his albummmmmmmm concretely.
Robins was too persistent about "it" she should have seen he was uncomfortable and moved on but of course the media is always looking to stir up some mess. But to be fair, if Brown did act an ass afterwards, it was certainly uncalled for. He should have did what GMA did and play the victim.
@LoneBaldEagle Who knows if she bashed her head on the dashboard herself, people with mental issues do things like that all the time...Were you in the car??? Or let me guess, you were the officer that responded?? Or if I go by your name maybe you flew over the scene of the crime and witnessed it in the air.... How about you not make any comments at all unless you were there.....
ever sense that f**king interview he hasen't done an interview, that really pisses me off, the thing is. it's not cool, and they know that, it's been almost 3 years let it go, and let him live his life, without having to be reminded every single second about what happend, he said album sooo many times in the interview, even I got that he wanted to talk about that and forget everything else. So leave the past focus on the future..
what he did was wrong but its in the past, when your at school a beat up someone it dnt go on 2 years later people dont hold it against you 2 years later so why should it happen to Chris Brown he is talented and thats all that matters, anyone would get pised off if someone kept brining up your past. remember the media dont tell the truth and dont say both sides of the story
Honestly They asked for it. They can try to pretend like they don't exploit people to entertain their fans but we all know they don't make they're money from telling us what kind of salad the pope is munching on... more like who he's sleeping with. F their show honestly. I would of punched the lady in the face. And the whole thug comment was very racist. If he were white he would have been a nuisance but since he's black he's nothing but a nigger thug. Cool.
And to everybody who has something negative to say about Chris, apparently you are a fan if you're still watching videos that we uploaded about old situations. Everyone has moved on! Everyone makes mistakes! You need to grow the fuck up and stop putting him down over this one mistake. Sorry, we can't all be perfect like you.
@Ballerz4Life2363 You can say whatever you want, but that's still not gonna change the fact that he's always gonna be relevant, he's always gonna be a top artist, and he's always gonna have ignorant ass people like you TRYING to put him down. Know about it before you speak about it!
its amazing how when this person attacks a woman in public the whole world attacks him. But when john McCain broke that woman's jaw, Bill O'Reilly sexually assaulted and beat up that women no one mentions it....no one does anything....what he did is wrong but you have to look at the whole picture. Not what this lying media tell us.
@Sillysore Ok for one she wasn't his wife. And for two were you in the car?? So neither you or me really knows what happens in that car that night. So who are you to say you would spit on his grave??
@giovannipinto2195 its people like you that piss me the fuck off you all think oh its his fault he should've handled it diffrent idk what went down between them im pretty sure none off you do and i'm pretty sure rihanna isnt all innocence he would'nt just snap like that at people im pretty sure she provoked him and yes i understand to that people are going to bring it up but it's fucking 2011 not 2 years ago when it happened! -.-
that truly pisses me off that robin wants to act like she did'nt do anything i really dont care if there were 'talking points' or whatever she kept bringing up somethin sensitive to him or somethings he trying to get over i already wanted to change the channel when she first brought it up he's trying to promote his ALBUM not what happened two years ago build a bridge and get over it i dont see any of his other interviewers still dwelling on it i mean hell i would've thrown the cooler at robin!
No, Chris shouldn't have gotten upset enough to break the window, but at the same time, they should have focused on what he was there to talk about, F.A.M.E. However, Chris knows that the incident will continue to be brought up over and over again, but everyone was in the wrong in this situation.
@sophienichelle , GMa doesn't have anything to apologize for. They did their job. It's a news show and even if he is "past it," the rest of the viewing public is not. He's going to have to learn how to deal.
@sophienichelle I know! Maybe if they would get their head out of other people's asses and start focusing on the present and not the past, they could actually get somewhere in life
they need to give up asking him questions about something he did to years ago and need to relise why they called him there iwhich is to talk about his album

People put famous people on pedestals like Gods. There nothing better then you and me and the bum on the corner.

U think GOD OF WAR is angry?.Wait till you meet the GOD OF ANGER - CHRIS BROWN
saleh2kx 3 days ago

Zolazora32 5 days ago
@Zolazora32 It is and always will be. His outburst is a clear indicator of his guilt and lack of self control when it comes to anger management. The guy has serious issues and needs to work really closely with a shrink because that kind of behaviour ISN'T NORMAL.

@UpturnTheUncool Personally? I don't like Rihanna at all, but dude, you've got issues if you think there ever is a good reason to beat up a person weaker than you are. IT'S NEVER OKAY TO HURT SOMEONE.
amsaric 4 days ago
@amsaric I don't think it's okay at all I just think people should get over it (two years at the time) three years is long enough to move on with our lives. I didn't even like Chris Brown for the longest time but I knew that a by gone was a by gone...
UpturnTheUncool 2 days ago
@UpturnTheUncool Get over it? Two years? For beating a woman? Are you kidding? Only two types of people can beat a person weaker than themselves: Sociopaths and people with sociopathic features (like complete lack of self-control in moments of anger). THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS to themselves and others. They need help. They definitely don't need everyone to pretend everything is okay with their mental state.
amsaric 2 days ago
@amsaric I could've sworn I said both he and Rihanna needed therapy. But just in case I didn't let me say ot again, they both need therapy. You're right their psychological problems shouldn't be overlooked so they need this therapy to stop it from happening again, but two years is enough time to get over this and try to move on. Plus I'm sure Rihanna had to have been provolking him, the song S&M and some of her interviews reveal that. Still people should stop dwelling so much on the bad
UpturnTheUncool 1 day ago
@UpturnTheUncool I agree with you and everything that you said except for the S&M thing. People who are "practicers" of S&M are people who are choosing to enter into a sexual relationship based on their preferences sexually. It doesn't mean it is violence against a woman. I think too many people get that confused with domestic violence. It isn't. I think the more puritanical thinking in this country make it hard for some people to understand health diverse forms of sexuality.
Dygsdoll 4 hours ago
@Dygsdoll No I understand-maybe I may have used it in the wrong way but it KIND of suggests what she MAY like outside of sex or possibly what happened was a mistake during the process IDK. I think I may've used that ignorantly but I do know what it means. Thanks though for correcting me.

SweetPoffin 1 week ago 4

CoolDrMoney 1 week ago 29
@CoolDrMoney She's not even his wife first off. Obviously what he did was shameful and 100% wrong but who are you to judge? None of us are perfect. Rihanna has forgiven him and moved on, so has Chris. Why can't you? All of you are hypocrites and it's astonishing that people can't understand there's such a thing as making mistakes and learning and growing from them. Move on and grow up!
rachelx1129 1 week ago
@rachelx1129 You are part of the problem. Best of luck to you. I hope that your apathy isn't contagious.
And it's obvious Chris Brown hasn't learned from his mistake. Partially because of the bewildering and almost sympathetic response he's gotten from the public. Here's an article that can articulate it better than myself. Since it's youtube, I can't like it but if you really want to read it all you can google it:
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "I’m frustrated that the mainstream media is covering this story like it’s any comeback story, like an exiled prince’s return to a former glory, like this is another political timeline — as though some rich and powerful old white men in the music business have not just issued an enormous ‘f**k you’ to every woman who has been, is or will be on the receiving end of domestic violence."
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@CoolDrMoney That's one of the best articles on the topic. The author did an amazing job being completely objective and without judging. She just spoke the truth.
amsaric 4 days ago
@rachelx1129 I was a full-time entertainment writer at the time, so I had a front-row seat to the action. This is what I expected: I expected a string of celebrities to comment on how horrific this situation was, how sad and angry they were for Rihanna, how domestic violence is unacceptable in any context, how as a nation we need to condemn this and condemn it loudly.
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "Instead, Hollywood went silent and, when they did speak, they teetered on the brink of defending Chris Brown. Carrie Underwood: “I don’t think anybody actually knows what happened. I have no advice.”
Lindsay Lohan: “I have no comment on that. That’s not my relationship. I think they’re both great people.” Nia Long: “I know both of them well. They’re young, and all we can do is pray for them at this point.”" etc.
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "Later in February, a photo of Brown riding a jet ski in Miami hit the Internet, and singer Usher was caught on video commenting on it: “I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher says in the video. “After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
The backlash was so severe that Usher was later forced to publicly apologize."
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "And, this week, Grammy producers confirmed that Chris Brown will be performing on Sunday’s show. “We’re glad to have him back,” said executive producer Ken Ehrlich. “I think people deserve a second chance, you know. If you’ll note, he has not been on the Grammys for the past few years and it may have taken us a while to kind of get over the fact that we were the victim of what happened.”
Read that quote again. Think hard about what is being said. "
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "Accepting that Chris Brown gets to perform at the Grammys because some people bought his album is no different from accepting that women without health insurance don’t get to be screened for breast cancer because some VP at Komen is anti-abortion. It may happen, but that doesn’t mean we should tacitly accept it. What if Chris Brown had hit your sister that night? Or your daughter?"
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 "We’re accepting the message that women just aren’t that important, that their health and their safety and their self-respect is only important until it stops being convenient for everyone. We should be angry about this, and we should be angry publicly about this."
Clearly you don't think it's a big deal for women to be abused if it's inconvenient for you or the music you listen to.
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@rachelx1129 I'm doubtful you read all of that. In any case, people deserve 2nd chances, but the message we're sending is if you're a woman, it's alright to if you're beaten if it's inconvenient to us. You are worthless.
Hope you have a change of heart
CoolDrMoney 5 days ago
@CoolDrMoney I did read all of it. While I agree with you that domestic violence isn't an issue to just let fall by the wayside, I do believe in second chances. Am I saying forget it? Absolutely not. But no person has the right to judge him. He'll pay for his sins. God will judge him and if he's asked for forgiveness and changed his ways then great for him. But stop persecuting the guy. Love your neighbor.

People r way too quick to forgive and the fact that he has a number 1 album after this disgusting act shows how shallow a lot of people really are.
jimmajamma2006 1 day ago

@horsebelieber224 she provoked him by taking out his keys while they were at a stop light and threw them out the car. i wouldve been pissed too.

that truly pisses me off that robin wants to act like she did'nt do anything i really dont care if there were 'talking points' or whatever she kept bringing up somethin sensitive to him or somethings he trying to get over i already wanted to change the channel when she first brought it up he's trying to promote his ALBUM not what happened two years ago build a bridge and get over it i dont see any of his other interviewers still dwelling on it i mean hell i would've thrown the cooler at robin!

No, Chris shouldn't have gotten upset enough to break the window, but at the same time, they should have focused on what he was there to talk about, F.A.M.E. However, Chris knows that the incident will continue to be brought up over and over again, but everyone was in the wrong in this situation.
JayPress2014 2 months ago
@JayPress2014 agreed. the only difference is chris apologizes for what he did. GMA didnt.
sophienichelle 1 month ago 2
@sophienichelle , GMa doesn't have anything to apologize for. They did their job. It's a news show and even if he is "past it," the rest of the viewing public is not. He's going to have to learn how to deal.

@sophienichelle THANK YOU! Finally somebody sees it my way
JayPress2014 1 month ago
@JayPress2014 i got you!!:) apparently ppl these days are so 'perfect' that they have the right to look at other ppl's wrongs and judge them.
sophienichelle 1 month ago
@sophienichelle I know! Maybe if they would get their head out of other people's asses and start focusing on the present and not the past, they could actually get somewhere in life
JayPress2014 1 month ago
@JayPress2014 seriously. If they keep worrying about the past then life is gonna pass them by. Cant be focused on the negative things.
sophienichelle 1 month ago
@sophienichelle exactly! Some people are just so ignorant. I hate having to amp on people but they bring out the worst in me when it comes to Chris
JayPress2014 1 month ago

they need to give up asking him questions about something he did to years ago and need to relise why they called him there iwhich is to talk about his album
MsChristian211 2 months ago
They do need to bring it up over and over again so we dont forget the kind of person he really is.
treelife21 2 months ago
Why the fuck do they ask him this same ol question. Its done and over with. He´s in a different stage now, Forget about the past. Stupid Robin!
