I tried giving my 3 months old castor oil, half a tea spoon in 90ml of formula milk and that worked wonders for me. i tried everything before warm water bath, tummy massage,lactulose, apple juice but nothing helped.

Wrong. Apple juice does the opposite to what yo said in the vast majority of cases.

apple juice can cause constipation?! my baby's peditrician recommended apple juice to get rid of constipation!
