I hear you there, this game definitely made me stop and think about was going on at a lot of parts. But once you put all the parts together (especially if you've played Trigger) and can get over the initial MINDFUCK, it is a fantastic story.

Both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross were awesome games. There was just something special about Chrono Cross for me, maybe the dreamy feel of it... Whenever I hear the music or play the game its like being teleported to another dimension or world where you have total freedom to do whatever you want. A world of magical dreamers indeed.

this is such a great game, people who havent played it should try looking for it on ebay :D they still loads of it, or try downloading it and playing it on an emulator its really worth, it. great music, great story and just really gets you thinking and appreciating lots of different things in life.

different characters, different plots, different systems, you have much more choices in Chrono Cross but I personally enjoyed Chrono Trigger much more, maybe I'm just old?

has a sound of legend of mana. Alot of people disliked that game but it was actually my first mana game so it may not of bothered me as much as others when it's style was changed from Secret of mana. But even after playing the others, Legend of mana is my favorite :) I always keep an ISO of it for my PSP on the go^.^

I have yet to find any sountrack that measures close to the brilliance of Chrono Cross. It's such an amazing game and the music is incredible. Certainly a masterpiece.

aww u could always buy another ps2 memory card and look for the game on ebay considering that they dont' sell ps1 games anymore an they don't trade in for anyhting at stores. Umm thats what I did, for final fantasy IX (9) an that was just recently! ^_^
