  • "try to avoid water higher than the bottom hubs..." WTF? It's a Ford I was expecting it to make it through, the name is misleading...

  • ugliest truck theyve ever made....what the hell ford, youre making me think you guys are purposely building ugly shit

  • @chinchillawrangler its a ford what do you expect

  • @tinderinc a 12 year could design a better looking truck.

  • @chinchillawrangler i like the look of all ford even the 2011 they all look great and im a dodge guy i just with for would use a cummins

  • @chinchillawrangler look at cheys new trucks do you like the look? I dont looks like shit to me.

  • @chinchillawrangler Nah, ford kind of started the huge front end craze that you see today.

  • FORD ALSO SAYS 9 OUT OF 10 FORD TRUCKS ARE STILL ON THE ROAD!!! THAT IS BECAUSE THAT 6.0 NEVER MADE IT BACK HOME,IT WAS LEFT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!! HA HA HA

  • (read first part below)

into the city, and started up my dodge, switched the trailer and pulled the 1/2 ton chevy all the way back to memphis on the trailer!! I finally did stop about 40 miles before getting back to memphis to fill up, just to be on the safe side!! My dodge drove to new orleans, went through katrina, sat for 3 months, and pulled a 99 chevy extended cab on a trailer all the way back home from new orleans to memphis on nearly a single tank of fuel, thats a stock tank!!

  • @jessemc2 Its a 12v Cummins

What do you expect? They are great motors, but are really out classed by new ones now, but are freaking great tow rigs!

Maybe one day, get that 12v, drop it into a F350 and drive the shit out of that! You'll love the super duty cab and toughness, great trucks

    Cheers! From a Ford guy

  • @mirlin235

I own a ford f350 with a 7.3 that I am thinking of pullling out and putting in a cummins, that 7.3 is tough, but my cummins 12v with the same mileage is running like new at over 200k, my ford f 350 at 250k is feeling weak and always needs new injectors or glow plug relays, or glow plugs, or this or that, the cummins is by far the cheaper engine to own and easier to work on, I will give it to ford, they do make a good body and transmission,

  • @jessemc2 7.3L is a great motor! I'd keep it in, find another Super Duty, one with a gas motor, drop in the 12v, much better, then you can find something that is easy to convert. Personally though, 7.3Ls are and have been problem free, if you keep them up to date, and just doing the maintence so I would start to wonder if its driver error, or if you bought it used from somebody else, if that second owner had treated it right

Just my .02 cents worth, not saying anything bad about you

  • Nope, I went from nashville TN, with my 98 12v 2wd 2500 with a 18ft trailer that had a terramite t5 mini backhoe, a bed with 6 jackhammers that were 70-90 lbs each, a 6 ft box blade, 5 ft finish mower, and got 16-17 mpg all the way to memphis TN!! That truck gets 22-23 mpg on the highway unloaded! the mileage is so good, i filled up in memphis, drove to new orleans, went on a cruise ship during katrina, drove a 1/2 ton chevy down to pick up the truck after wating 3 months to get back

  • i know a guy who chipped his dually 350 and was getting 25 MPG on highway lol great trucks, big potential

  • It's not the truck, it all about TORQUE. The lower the torque, the higher gearing for higher engine RPMS is required to accomplish the same amount of work a larger engine with lower gearing and lower RPMS. That's why so many of todays V6 sedans are slightly, just as, and even less effcient than a 2002 6 speed Z28 Camaro.

  • I got 17mpg with a 12 valve 98 cummins dodge pulling about 8k doing 70mph, oh and the wind resistance of pulling a 18ft trailer with a minibackhoe was kinda high too!

  • @jessemc2 thats a lie and you know it :P

  • this is an awful marketing vid. think about it. they are telling you what a POS the last two diesels were, but "trust us, THIS one's awesome!". Before you bought the other two, did they say "you REALLY ought to hold out for a couple of years before buying a new ford diesel, cuz these trucks here? not so good.". Or did they have a commercial showing you a truck driving down the highway with a 6.0 diesel broke down on the side with the music "have you driven a ford.....lately!" playing? LOL

  • as long as they have dpf & def they wont get a good as before 07 diesels. my 09 diesel gets 16-17 in town 20-23 on the highway.

  • holy shit lol my dodge pulling a 19,000 lbs gets 19 to 20 lol and on that guys dash it was avg 14 mpg lol NOT good lol its a load of shit, they just put bigger tanks in em

  • @thefarminkid8760

That is the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard, I don't think you own a truck period.

  • well news flash I DO lol 2003 dodge cummins, 3500 single airbags, 6 speed 4x4 pac brake flat bed lots more, dude just face it lol fords suck ass, because i know several people who get that same or better mpg pulling bout the same weight

  • @thefarminkid8760 calling horse shit on your 19 to 20 towin 19000 lbs i drive a cummins too towin that much and i get bout 10 to12 i get that good gas milage when im unloaded and on the highway

  • @cummins59ish well buddy i have a diff truck than you and i reset the computer when i was on the road and it said 19 -20 the whole time i was driving it and a couple of stop and goes, and you drive diff as well as me so if im blind and cant read the comp then i would call horse shit too but im not lol so there you go

  • @thefarminkid8760 still cant get no 19 to 20 thats for sure maybe if your towin 2000 lbs but no 19000
