yes audiences today don't appreciate the show. they think they are the show. go to any club in the US and listen to the band. the audience could care less. it's about how they look on the dance floor and what they are wearing. Thank god when i played back in the 60s and 70s people in clubs appreciated live acts

Not sure whether you can blame the americans for this... The Retros are a German group (I think) so I would assume the audience is also german. And in their defence the video was taken at long range and the mike was close to the camera so background noise would dominate....but I love the Retromatics, I wish they would bring out a CD

I think I have a weird in music. Here I am born into this Hip-Hop era and I'm listening to Doo Wop and other things from the 50's. I love how this group sang their version of "In the Still of the Night". It's soothing. I like it ^_^. I think the Boyz II Men is pretty good also.

Very impressive. While the group obviously sounds white, they do come reasonably close to the black sound of '50s Rock & Roll on the backup vocals. And they definitely have the American accent perfected. The girl singer is terrific. Bravo!

Great, great job. I would love to hear this group in the studio or in front of a quiet, more appreciative audience. Despite the obnoxious crowd, the singers maintain their poise & sing their hearts out. Plus, English is (presumably) not their native language; they are from Germany!
