  • hes the reason we canadians get chirped for the stupid accent and shit -_-

  • Thats a 40 pound musky not 40 inches. 40 inch musky weigh roughly 15 to 18 lbs

  • Nice 40" muskie, check out my channel for a 2011 40" monster muskie.

Plus other HD videos of bass and the outdoors.

  • did u snag it?

  • @ChexMix71 no

  • They are both from the genus Esox.

  • *huuh*, canadians. always makes me laugh. aye!

  • big ol' fat bitch! great fish my man! been fortunate enough to catch a couple that size on eagle lake in vermilion bay, ontario

  • WOW! Well done my man!

  • hooooooooolay good job man

  • boy nice catch... hope u mounted it.

  • Better to have let it go and get a prototype made.

  • @CCMAR I don't keep any musky and i do not have any mounts of any fish.

  • ur a tool they r from the same family as the northern pike the can get half their face choped off a still live.. thats only a 5 to 7 year old fish it,s fine just tired .. i live it canada lake of the woods ontairo trust me i catch 40 + evey spring and fall!!! it aint nuttin to catch a 40 pounder 60+ now ur talkin lake of the wood 2004 fall i caught a 54 pounder in 4 feet of water in heavy weeds !!!

  • 5-7 years old... HA! Try closer to 15-20. It takes the average musky over 12 years to become four foot, and then their growth really slows down, ranging from half an inch to an inch per year! The fish was hopefully okay but it did look pretty rough laying belly up in the net. A very small percentage of musky fisherman have caught one over 50 inches, and an even smaller percentage for a 40 pounder... this fish may not be 40 but it's in the ball park. Great fish, I hope it's still swimming...

  • @jerrettx420 you saying that fish is only 5-7yrs old is flat out wrong. and it IS something to catch a 60+ inch fish ANYWHERE in the world. i call your 54 pounder bluff too...

get on google...it takes an average of just over 6yrs for a female muskie to reach 34" and just under 8yrs for a male to reach the same size.

you obviously don't know your shit; therefore, you obviously don't catch 40+ muskie a year, and FOR SURE don't catch 54 pounders or 60 inchers...

  • @jerrettx420 i know this post is over a year old but *the musky and northern pike are not in the same family*

  • did you let the beauty go?

  • my dad lives at sturgeon lake and its known for musk not like that i dont think but i wanna go musky fishing onit one day

  • i live maybe 15 minutes away from sturgeon lake i want to go muskie fishing in my new boat

  • yeah i cot my first musky off my dock here and it was a little 28 incher but they jump like crazy

  • i would not let that fish go it would be mounted for bregging rights lol

  • Neat trick.

  • WOW the nice part is when you try the first time to pull it out of the water, I could almost feel all that weight!!!!

    Nice fish, way to go!!!!

  • honest 40+ there fallas!

    "rock n roll fish guy"

  • Way to go man release the beast

  • Looks like you ate your wheaties before going out, great fish.

  • that is a nice muskie!!
