They were trying too hard with this one. The Thanksgiving Special a couple years back and then the St. Patrick's Day Special that came after it are easily the best ones of all the Vincent Price Television Special sketches.

Kristen Wigg, didn't really do a good Judy Garland in my opinion. It was like all the other "Golden Age Hollywood" characters she does. It was like a toned down version of the Broadway Actress she plays, most remembered from the "Password" scenes. Not their best, but still good.

@orbis2009 That's Kristen Wiig she is one of the main female SNL actors.

@kosimitz The other actors and actresses on SNL can move totally in and out of different characters, even to facial expressions and mannerisms.  Kristen Wiig really needs to work out at getting out of the one character which she brings to all of them. She needs to work on developing wholly new facial expressions, mannerisms, voices according to the characters. It's a real problem.
