I have the e71 and it's amazing!! It's getting pretty old & beaten though...have already had the keypad replaced once so I might be up for another soon & seriously looking at the e72.

Anyone having a bunch of troubles with this phone? Sometimes I get good audio quality, other times very poor, sometimes it even cuts the communication.

Also when launching some applications sometimes the phone freezes like going into standby mode, restarting by itself.

I am really disappointed :(

Has anyone out there ever had problems updating software on the E72?

I downloaded the latest sw to my laptop but when I plug the usb cable to the phone I get, after a few minutes, the error message "a device could not be found" even though the laptop makes the same (recognition?)noises it makes when I connect my ipod to it...I've tried different usb ports and cables. Any suggestions/tips welcome. cheers

already have the E72 & I am delighted w/ its features but I'm very upset with its quality. just bought the phone 3 days ago & I noticed some defects already (sometimes the indicator light indicates that you have a new message even if there's none, sometimes some keys are not functioning correctly, it hangs/lag seldomly and you must press the power botton too long just to turn on the phone). It SUCKS because it is a brandnew 3 day old phone and that flaws are happening alredy. anybody frm NOKIA?

@stey2k E72 takes the win for size and faster browsing, multitaskign etc. small keys for bulky fingers, but easy to get used to

curve is bulky and not good looking and no multitasking per se. but bb is best for the on the go worker, slower processor than e72 though.

i always wonder when i see qwerty keypads on monoblock phones like this? its kinda small to type is it? doesn't make for fast typing since u gotta use fingertips.

@Avrelsg because the buttons are protruding and the highest points of the buttons are elevated than the outer part it makes for a really comfortable actually so go to some phone shop and just press on the keyboard it feels quiet good

I'm going to have to hold off on the upgrade. $469 is a little steep for such minimal upgrades from my e71. I like my d-pad since i play a lot of games on my phone, I bought a 3.5 to 2.5 mm headphone converter, and i upgraded my firmware so that there's no purple tint to my photos anymore. I have hacked my phone and installed tons of apps and I really don't want to have to do that all over again. For me my E71 is the perfect phone, maybe when the e73 comes out I'll consider the upgrade :)

I have the E71 and the camera was piss poor. I doubt the sensor was a 3.2mp sensor too.

Same with this one, doubtful the sensor is a true 5.0mp sensor.
