i personally don't get there can be much of a plot line to this move unless somehow through the "twister" they end up in Narnia where everyone sings songs about massacring witches and seeing some 'wonderful' wizard???!

Have y'all heard about the Discovery stormchasers? They're as crazy as Jo and even Jonas. I swear if the Dominator crew isn't careful, they'll end up like Jonas, DEAD inside a tornado. They've already started following Jonas' footsteps. The idea for the Dominator came from the TIV.

If you watch the scene of that explosion (Which i will hopefully get online soon), you can see inside the cabs windshield and there is no one in there. This fact is enforced by the driver side door which is open when the truck is being blown around.

@1976MUSTANG Looks like it's a random truck used for the trailer. Many time scenes are created strictly for the trailer and nothing more.

@1976MUSTANG actually on the DVD, when you hit play, 1:53 is the little movie. When the tire 'hits' the camera, it goes to start the movie....

@ewtng That was a test effect that ILM did and was never intended to be in the movie, but they liked it so much they put it in the trailer.

@ewtng If you get the DVD version, that is actually used. And I think the reason it never played in the film was because they had already shot the truck landing like it did and figured it would not have made sense to that scene to. I could be wrong, but I think that is why. :)

@ewtng this is the first SFX made by the company that made the twisters speciial effects. it was only to show what can they do using computers. it was made before shooting the movie and it was only test
