One wonders if that interest is in the form of big contributions behind the scenes from insurance companies, who don't want to find out the hard way if Edwards means what he says about health-care.

It's unfortunate that voting for the candidate of one's choice is considered wasteful. I also consider the degree of influence to which the media, pundits, polls, and previous caucuses/primaries have on future voters quite unfortunate. In many ways, though they may be informative, media coverage hurts democracy far more than it promotes it. This is why legitimate candidates like Biden, Dodd and Bill Richardson and more recently Edwards have all been overshadowed by rockstar candidates.
I cast my vote for John Edwards because I feel he is the best man for the job of all the Democratic candidates still running. I refuse to compromise my vote for the sake of being on the winning side. It is obvious that the media (all of them) has a vested interest to steer this election away from Edwards. One wonders if that interest is in the form of big contributions behind the scenes from insurance companies, who don't want to find out the hard way if Edwards means what he says about health-care.
Because if yes, they stand to loose the biggest money in American business history.
If you're an insurance company CEO, your job is riding on that Edwards not be President.

It's unfortunate that voting for the candidate of one's choice is considered wasteful. I also consider the degree of influence to which the media, pundits, polls, and previous caucuses/primaries have on future voters quite unfortunate. In many ways, though they may be informative, media coverage hurts democracy far more than it promotes it. This is why legitimate candidates like Biden, Dodd and Bill Richardson and more recently Edwards have all been overshadowed by rockstar candidates.

I cast my vote for John Edwards because I feel he is the best man for the job of all the Democratic candidates still running. I refuse to compromise my vote for the sake of being on the winning side. I don't mean to attack you in any way, but I've been hearing this attitude expressed quite often in recent weeks and I feel it has to be addressed.

If you see through it all though during the debates and other outlets, you can really pinpoint who the real candidate of "change" is. Edwards is so personal and inspirational when he speaks. I do feel that Edwards has been ignored by the media. Many critics have suggested that Edwards actually "won" this North Carolina debate. He did seem weak on short term proposals to stimulate the economy, but otherwise he spoke clearly, outlining the very real differences between him and his fellow democratic candidates.

Polls show Edwards in the ONLY candidate who can beat McCain if he's nominated. Still 1,639 delegates to go, and there are more delegates just in Los Angeles county than all of Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina. It's going to be a brokered convention, so don't write Edwards off!

I'm pragmatic and understand what people are saying about Edwards being the only one with a chance in the general election. However, he WILL NOT beat McCain. Joe Biden is the only guy who could have done that for us, and they pushed him out. I'm inclined to have sympathy for a less experienced, less electable Edwards when he complains about coverage in the media... he got ALOT of it this fall while Biden and Richardson, the 2 who could take on McCain and win got NOTHING!

I share your frustration... our guys, the only 2 with any substantial track record on domestic issues and the ONLY 2 with any record AT ALL in foreign policy were shut out much worse than Edwards ever was. And both of them SWAMP any Republican in a general election, hands down.

Edwards actually had more votes, but the union stewards were watching their folks vote to make sure they followed their board's choice, and a lot of people couldn't make it to the caucus. It's not like voting and is very undemocratic!

I like this video, hate the reality it shows. I am sick of the shallow, manipulative, celebrity-style coverage the major media outlets have been giving this election for months. Edwards is the best candidate with the best policies,the best heart, and the best chance to beat the Republicans in November. The media know-it-alls are apparently so blinded by their own opinions, they don't know or care what fair coverage is. Show them you're smarter than they are. Vote for Edwards!!

Where all my friends and many loved ones happen 2 be from. Hillary is totally unable to be objective of our national financial sovereignty because she and her husband have been so compromised by their financial dealings with the very countries at issue in the decision.
Saudi monarchy been permitted to purchase an important equity position in some of America's leading banks? How can Hillary be objective when the very same monarchy donated $10 millions to the Clinton Library and Foundation?!

The Saudis (Arabs) donated to the Clinton's Library and personal bank account. This was discovered by the New York Times when the information was inadvertently posted on the Library's Web site. Soon after the story appeared, it was taken down. The Clintons refuse to reveal the donors to the Library or the related Foundation. Hillary and Bill have also refused to release their income tax returns, despite the fact that Bill willingly released his when he was running for president.

And what about Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich. Both of which are much better Democratic candidates.
