Can you also use "bu" instead of "mei" ?

@kirecorp "you" is always negated with "mei". Actually "mei" is only short form of "meiyou".
Besides, "bu" negation is always used with present or with future.
And "meiyou" [short: mei] is used for past tense negation.
Wo bu qu - I dont go.
Mingtian wo but qu - Tomorrow, I won't go.
Wo meiyou qu. (or Wo mei qu) - I didn't go.
