  • the track is from the English version of Solid State Society, it starts right at the beginning when you see Motoko on the tower, through when they first show Togusa stepping out of the car and going into the airport

  • hahaha my phone ringtone !

  • Oh my god these lyrics are flowery and stunningly popping...so pleasing to the ears!! should be a new language!

  • I still can't figure out how to download these on your profile page, please help (sorry if i am missing something very obvious)

  • Solid State Society probably has the best soundtrack that I've ever heard.

  • oops was thinking about ghost city. but still, sensory overload.

  • this isnt fear factory

  • My question is....why don't I remember any of these beautiful tracks being in the movie?

  • @xviyo because the movie was sensory overload. I couldn't pay attention to the subtitles as i drunk in everything else in the movie...

  • If you are really interested in getting this song on mp3, message me.

  • lol Language: As of now, it's considered Gibberish

  • @ladydeath100 I believe its german. I could be wrong though

  • fear factory - zero signal = my favourite song since 17 years. ghost in the shell = probably the best manga / anime series ever. coincidence? who cares. it rocks.

  • @AtTheGates Zero signal is the shit.

  • Thanks for the download links

  • @kalligah

that sounds nothing like Welsh or Cornish xD (I am welsh)

    just sayin'....:P

  • The first 50 seconds are the only part of this song in my opinion. Just simply epic.

  • I did a little research and i think the language is Breton, a Celtic language spoken in Brittany, a North-Western Region of France.

  • Have we investigated the possibility or it being Esperanto? Take a Little Hand on the same soundtrack has a similar sound and it's Esperanto.

  • @Deyyhayederaned You're welcome

  • anyone know what song plays at the begining of the hospital fight scene with batou and motoko and the tank that sounds simular to this? Its not on any of the soundtracks and I have all of them. Its the same voice but it sings something like eedy los so lay yo low, eedy los so lay yo low or something like that?

  • "deshan deshan" doesn't sound like the correct lyrics, it sounds more like "deshavagan deshavagan"

  • This version of the song isnt complete????? an it sux coz i cant find the full version anywhere. you only hear it during ma shabas hospital scene (sss). WHY!!!!!!!!

  • @xXZionprincessXx this is on the title screen for SSS....

  • @1Soulless1 its the 1st in the movie. but player wud be the title track.

  • @xXZionprincessXx I don't mean on the 'intro song' I mean on the

place you choose what chapter you want to watch or watch the extra stuff

  • @xXZionprincessXx that's the version I've been looking for, for years without luck. And to top it off the Ma Shaba clinic scene has the part of the song where it really kicks into gear. That's like rubbing salt into the wound. :S

  • And im also Backing Up Togusa on this 1 it sounds like it would be Slovak its almost simmiler but there are a few ways to tell if you have the right ears and the perfect hearing

  • well just so you guys know that launage used in this song is Actually Simplifed japanese....... Do you guys wanna know why and how i know this? I speak simpified japanese guys

  • Yoko Kanno's music really grows on you. The first time I heard her stuff I didn't like it at all, but the more I listened, the more I came to love it until I arrived at where I am now - addiction.

  • I cannot for the life of me find this on Nico sound, does anyone know where I can download these songs?

  • @sgtsquishy You've got to be kidding. At the beginning of the 5 secs of this video it tells you RIGHT there. Click it to go to my channel where it has the download link under my profile info.

  • @Togusa LOL I had the annotations turned off xD thanks.

  • @Togusa Haha, Youtube intelligence my friend.

  • @Togusa

Gata love the tards of the net o _o

  • @Togusa lol

  • Sounds like a mashup of Russian, Turkish, and Latin. Which explains why people think she's singing in Romanian on other songs.

  • this is how i think the lyrics are:

    ekutumina ekutumina ekutumina ekutumina daya

ebalan dush ebalan dush ebalan priete parete

    ekutumina ekutumina ekutumina ekutumina daya

ebalan dush ebalan dush ebalan priete parete

    kukuturika kukuturika kukuturika kukuturih

aban dang kush esta bienlan dush

    idel bladana blonikshtuubem

aban dang kush esta bienlan dush

    merdu mei sigma lijetoo promatika

  • its not a real language its Yoko Kanno's made up language. i read that she like to make up her own languages

  • @MoshiMoshiMartin I could have sworn it was in Russian. Last time I checked Russian was a real language.

  • @Addictd2Muse Well Togusa said its not and im sure he has done his research thats why the language is As of now, it's considered Gibberish and Yoko Kanno makes up here on language sometimes like in her song Sora

  • @Addictd2Muse

It'e definetly not russian, russians one of my mothertongue languages

there's so sort of componing kalled onomato-poetry or something like that

there the voice is used like an instrument, the best fitting sounds are what count, not words - maybe thats how you can understand the singing here

  • wow, this song will work a lot with "Alone in the Dark"

  • Rusi ne pricaju "slovenski" jezik?! Ziveo sam u zabludi ceo zivot... xDDDD

  • Personally I thought it was Breton, a form of Celtic British like Welsh and Cornish, but I could be wrong because its only now a days used in portions of Amorica (previously called Brittany), the small regional portion in northwestern France. It was mostly used until the 12th century then kinda died out till the 15th century when it was almost completely removed and replaced with French. Just my thoughts anyways :)

  • I thought it was Russian :(

  • @Garrraaahyyy Alot of her ongs are in Russian. But a few are just made up crap

  • AMAZING SONG!!!!

  • At first i had the wrong song in mind.

However, Gabriela Robin Is Yoko kanno.

She is the stage name pen name whatever you wana call it, and no one has ever actually seen her preform live, but yoko kanno does show up at the shows.

Its led many to think they are one and the same, and This style of using non japanese language is that of Yoko kanno, listen to most of the songs she has done for popular anime like ghost in the shell.

She works also with Origa, and They are russian so speak Slavic.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think that serves as a strong enough evidence to prove that it's really Slavek. I'd like to see more proof.

  • Comment removed

  • @Togusa

Not to worry - there's no such thing as "slavic" language. You can consider a Slavic group of languages, which my maternal - Serbian - is a part of, but these lyrics are plain gibberish that sound a bit Slavic.

Btw, Olga is a "She" not a "They", and Russians speak Russian language ;)

  • the best part whas the first 49 seconds▐▐▐

  • Whas the song from the first film? the one where you get a long series of shots of people and the city...it plays while Motoko is riding the bus/ferry?

  • Oh! I'm not sure, but it should be on the soundtrack cd for the first movie. It's not going to be on the OSTs that I have currently uploaded since these are the anime series and the 3rd movie.

  • @Togusa Solid State Society is not the first movie from the GITS Saga.

  • This is from the most recent movie solid state society.

  • @jeffhardy0963

    ...you mean ghost city?

  • @SonicRidder01 Yeah, someone pointed it out to me a while back, nice tune

  • @jeffhardy0963

No, this one comes from the "Solid State Society" series. The one in the first movie you're thinking about is "Ghost City"

  • @jeffhardy0963 If I remember. and no-one quote me on this, this song is at the very beggining of the movie where Togusa, inflitrate an airline? and the major is on a building listening in to the conversation between Togusa and Cagael?

  • o i love it. :)

  • Typical, arguing over some damn language rather than appreciating Kanno+Robin's song...pathetic.

  • Welcome to Youtube.....they do this quite frequently. Nobody wants to enjoy the music anymore -_-

  • Yokko Kano is awesome.

  • aplause outstanding for this track

  • sounds a little german....prolly not tho...i was gonna say either russian, german, or a mix, but exaba down there said it wasnt russian so...there goes THAT theory xD

prolly one of those european countries like germany or sweden or poland or sumfin

either way this song is friggin awesome :3

  • indeed it is

  • it dos not sound german at all and its not russian and its 4 sure not from sweden. put I dont know what language it is if its from europe it would be from south europe maybe est too but I dont think it sound like anything I have heard from there too :)

  • I don't think they're actual words; she's done songs with gibberish lyrics before, so I think this might be the same. Just whatever syllables she thought would flow nicely.

I guess this gives you free license to think up your own meaning.

  • Lmao this is not a real language, I am a Yoko Kanno fan and Yoko Kanno ften make Giberish music for her tracks so yeah Lol. It kinda sounds Like a futuristic russian language though but its not.

  • Oh really?!...

    Do you have any proof?

  • No proof needed, when you really listen to it, you hear it. She knows what she is doing. I'd love to see the seatbelts again one day.

  • Although that was hillarious...

    STFU!

  • No this is not a russian :D

  • Wow, thank you so much. Do you know what language this is?

  • Its most likely Russian. Otherwise I wouldn't know

  • its not russian i am russian

  • The CD insert doesn't credit her, but it's obviously gabriela Robin on the lyrics, and it's no real language Kanno's ever used, so it's definitely Robin-ese gibberish.

  • whats it mean?

  • does anyone know the name of the song that plays when the major gets back to her apartment/investigation place after stealing batou's car, where she keeps all her other prosthetic bodies and stuff? can't seem to find it...

  • 0:28 I mean yeah it makes feel like flying !!!

  • I completely agree. I've set this to play when I'm bombing down a hill on my bike, it's great.

  • Yup it makes you feel free !!!!

  • this part of the song makes me feel free or like flying !!!

  • If they'd have an english translation attached they'd be awesome.

  • heheyeah- dont know if there is one to be honest, i might be goobledigook or an invented language

  • but it might not sound as good in english

  • demasiado bueno!!!

  • Where can I get this song?

I cannot find this on Limewire, I tried several times with no luck.

  • I've found it on limewire in the past. it's there, I just don't remember what I searched for. Probably Zero Signal- Yoko Kanno

  • Woot i Love you Togusa!

  • love it! industrial yoko kanno =D

  • omg! i loves the movie!

  • THIS ROCKS!

  • As soon as I heard this song on the movie I went straight on my laptop and downloaded it.

Its like a slow version of Date of Rebirth with Stamina Rose.

  • lol yh!!!!!!

  • Great song :)

  • Thanks for posting the GITS OST!

  • I just like the opening...

  • I like it all, but there's something addictive about that voice...

  • i know, just at first i thought it was really weird and something id NEVER get into, but then after listening to it it just got me addicted to that voice...

  • @ILOVESPEED25 Yeah, I know what you mean.

I've been trying to find music with a similar style to that. The closest I've got is music from Medieval Baebes

  • Me too, i dont like the other stuff on the rest of the track

  • thank you VERY much for uploading these songs!!!

  • SWEET SONG!

  • HELL YEAH!
