Comedy Central decided his show was a commodity and instead of letting him do his thing they wanted to amp it up and exert pressure to get a guaranteed hit and stuck him with a lot of people who didn't get what he was about. That's what it sounds like to me anyway. That show could only work in the dark, on the down-low so to speak, as soon as you shine the spot-light on it the magic is gone.
