k I'm a little confused. I remember watching this show with my mom but I don't remeber much details cuz I was so young. Did Becca and Jesse really marry? And did Jesse die? what was the thing in the hospital at around 3:00 in this video where he looked really sick. Was that from AIDS? did Jesse have AIDS and if he did, did Becca also? Sorry to throw out so many questions. it just been so long

Yes Jesse had AIDS and he did die of AIDS. No, Becca did not have it. This wedding was actually a dream Becca had. They did not ever get married.

@sallysimpson7 It was my understanding at the time that it was not a dream. The finale showed an older, future Becca telling her children about Jesse. In her story, they get married after she graduates from college, despite protests from her family and the fact that Jesse has AIDS. He eventually dies of AIDS. There was confusion as to whether the children are Jesse's or from a second marriage.

Thanks for this clip, it's really poignancy to see them because I always love their story. For me, there's no other story like this. Jesse and Becka have an epic love, because what they live, they always love each other and support all the toughness, even if the death.

No, he wasn't gay. I believe he got AIDS from a blood tranfusion, but i could be wrong on that part

I'm sorry but he hasn't got AIDS from a blood transfusion. He got AIDS after his first sexual experience with a girl, Alison, meet in a party when he was in his sister's home. When he fall in love with Becka, Jesse go to meet Alison again for talking about AIDS, but she died three month ago. (Sorry for my bad english...)

Wow...is it sad I loved this show so much when it was first on, I remember most of it rather vividly even though I was only 13, haha. :) I really wish they'd release the entire series on DVD! Yes..a whole episode revolved around it as I remember. Tyler had not gotten over Becca break up and was very angry. He got drunk and drove off-Corkie went in the car after him . The car crashed Tyler died and Corkie went into shock and Becca feeling horrible. Very sad episode:(

The last episode of LGO showed Becca about 10 years in the future speaking to her son about Jesse. Jesse left Becca to go to Europe to try some experimental AIDS treatments. (The wedding here was Becca's fantasy.) Jesse left a box of her stuff, including his picture of her. Jesse told Becca to marry if she found someone else she loved and have kids, as they never could. He asked Becca to remember him in some way after he died. At the end of the show, it was revealed Becca named her son Jesse.
