The Hollywood fighting is ignorantly ineffective (why the chairs weren't immediate weapons is baffling) and the Hong Kong fighting is stupidly inefficient (you got his ankle, lock, drop, and snap it)!
@GroteB No, european's have skilled martial arts. Like the french elite are highly trained with savate and even the regular people know it a lot of the time to protect themselves in the dangerou sstreets. SAmbo is used in russia and pankration europe. They take martial arts more seriously over there.
I admit that American fight scenes suck ass a lot......but I think that film makers are starting to realize this and making slow improvements. The Expendables was BEAST in my opinion, but that's just what I say. If anything they just need to get more fight coreographers like the one who did coreography for the matrix trilogy, many Jet Li movies, and a few Jackie Chan movies (I think)..........Sorry but I forgot his name.
@LightxKira5643 Ummmmmmmmmmmm by now who hasn't heard of Tany Jaa & Lateef Crowder......then again I'm a huge Martial Arts enthusiest & I watch just about anything that comes my way.........I also like Micheal Jai White, Donnie Yen, & many many others if you got any other suggestions I'd love to hear about um dude :D
ok well let me see good action movies dat dont look like dis made in us umm oh i know 300 never back down undipsutted 2 and 3 rage transporter i could go on for a wile now if dey made dis joke about twilight so true =D
@TinyTitian Undisputed 2 and 3 where filmed in Eastern Europe mostly. Transporter was written by Luc Besson, a french writer and producer. for both Transporter 1 and 2 were mostly filmed in France. Part of Miami, but mostly France.
yeah, one of my fav zeroG scenes. Cause its basically spot on. American action puts so little into their fight scenes and they wonder why other countries consider us the barbarians. All they see is bar brawl fights in movies.
@TinyTitian They kinda were, but definitely don't have American Sensibility. Scott Adkins isn't American and Michael Jai White is a serious Martial artist, even when he did Universal Soldier (tragedy) his technique was sound. That's just him.
Principle filming was in Bulgaria for both of those movies though.
I personally love both of those movies. It was definitely a new level of MA action.
Who says stereotypes can't be fun?

Still a fine watch, thanks for the upload.

This stems probably from the many martial arts originated in Asia, as opposed to the many guns invented and used in America (and Europe).

Story of how the Matrix came to be. American rule of cool hired Chinese martial arts master. Result "instant awesome, just add kung fu".
Fuck yeah.

@IcyOne4884 Eww, you are comparing that movie.
Watch this and you'll see how horrible that was: Tony Jaa building scene
That is top notch.
Jet li and Jackie Chan movies are to supernatural now, go watch that Tony Jaa, muay boran fighting.
Also search tony jaa vs lateef crowder. Lateef crowder search him too. Lateef is in this group but he's a very good brazillian martial artist.

@IcyOne4884 You forgot to mention Scott Adkins because I'm sure you know him. Anyway, there are tons, like the rest of ZeroGravity are all very good.
