Not a HUGE fan of this song, although it is good, but McGuinn makes it sound like angels singing.

It always puzzles me when someone makes a comment like that. Why on earth would you call a song "good" after just saying you aren't a fan of it?? sounds like you have no idea what you like. how very sad.

The quality of a song and the enjoyment of it by an individual are two entirely different things. Seems perfectly sensible to me to be able to respect a song but not be exceedingly crazy about it.
