I'm surprised that the senator is so blase about such a terrible incident. The front falling off a tanker is not to be taken lightly. I was pleased to see the action the government took however. Towing the ship outside the environment was a good idea; perhaps BP should take note and make their drilling platforms portable so that they too could be towed outside the environment quickly. The oil disaster in the Gulf could so easily have been avoided if the Australians had taken charge.
