The very title is a lie. Not only was Muller never a sceptic, but he was a warmist. Curry is a sceptic, but generally a warmist.

Then the whole thing misses the point. Even Muller specifically says that the study makes no claim for the causes of warming. No-one denies there might be changes to climate, and more warming than cooling.

That is before we consider the deep flaws in the study, like taking station data back to before those that gather it say it is valid.

Land temperatures are the least important climate change indicator. The ocean temperatures are the dominant factor. The Berkeley report knowingly omits ocean temperatures so their results will favor the AGW GHG environmental extremists. Their hope is to maximize their political science objective of getting funding by patronizing the Obama-led governmental bias toward AGW.

Watts is a hypocrite. When peer-review articles are published, he criticises peer-review. When they're not peer-reviewed (YET!!!), he criticises that. All the while Watts throws tonnes of unsubstantiated guff and false accusations into the public sphere without bothering to have it checked first by qualified experts.

One other thing about Watts: he wrote once of the BEST study: “I’m prepared to accept whatever result they produce, even if it proves my premise wrong”. But even that wasn't true.

I have superior info to just claiming that the climate is getting infinitely warmer.

The Milankovich cycle of the distance of the Sun dictates that there is a spike on temperature every 110000 years, and we are thousands of years past the last spike in temperature. Finnish meteorologists have confirmed to me several times that the Green House Effect is true, but it will just post-pone the effects of the distance of the Sun. Infinite warming is wrong, wrong, wrong.
