You know how normal people who don't play games have claimed to have seen a ghost in their house? Well this is pretty much the same thing except its an AI(Artificial Intelligent) Program that somehow got a mind of it's own and Joined the game. But because it has a mind of its own, it isnt a persons account. that explains why it has no gamer tag and didn't appear when you check the score.

Information of Halopedia:

There are actually THREE ghosts on sandtrap, as well as Ghosts on some other maps. The first one, and the one most dangerous, is named Basilisk. He has Active Camo on, uses a Spartan Laser, and for some reason looking at him kills you. Then there is Smash, another ghost who uses a gravity hammer. He does NOT have active camo on, and is seen only rarely, and when he is seen, he's fighting Basilisk. And finally, Blade. Blade uses an energy sword, little known about him.

me and my freinds were on sandtrap forge underneath the guardians tower different weapons spelt out the word 'FEAR' we did not do this ourselves because the map had just started and it wasnt a custom map later my freind spawned in a room that it was impossible to get too. then an unknown player joined the match we couldnt kill him but he could kills us and he had one arm

The bombs are the guardians to prevent pepole from getting to far from the map so no one can find them/ get them and also to stop pepole getting out the map even tho you cant unless you hack/mod lol :P

I've seen another Ghost before on this map. He was at one of the lifts with the Power Drain that takes you to the rocket launcher. He looked like Sgt Johnson.

I really think this whole ghost thing is just Bungie messing with peoples' heads, sort of like ILoveBees.

Long story

On the day Sandbox came out, me and some friends decided to do some forging on it. My friend sais out of nowehrre " Why is there an enemy bubble sheild here???" The reason this was so weird was because we were all on the same team. me and my other friend looked and didn't see anything. We told him we knew he was making up so he told us "stand right here" where he was standing so we did. He left the game and then sent us a picture of us on sandbox in the middle of a bubble sheild...

thats a network glitch. it happens all the time to me. random stickys,spartan lasers,mongooses,etc etc. the only REAL one that was put on purpose is the ghost of blackout, the one dude that kills you. so thats your explaination
