Had Jiew made the song her own instead of singing it just like the original artist, it would have been much better.

It's always difficult to compare with the original singer because most people already heard it and had their mind set on how it "suppose" to sound. This version by Jiew is different because she is being herself and not trying to sound like someone else. I'm sure other singers would sound different too if they try to sing some of Jiew's song.
