  • 754 ftw

  • this is old

  • no thermal paste necessary????

  • @pooanddoo It uses a thermal pad instead, the thermal pad is the thing that he touches with a finger at 0:19...

  • @pooanddoo on new processors, thermal paste is already attached

  • what is a heat sink. eh?!

  • the cpu cooler

  • thanks

  • Where can I get a Heat Sink

  • it comes with the cpu

  • thermal gel would be nice!

  • do you have to use thermal gel? i just ordered parts for my first build and didn't getany because another video didn't say you needed it.

  • so whats the diffrence between a heat sink and a fan, sorry im curantly on my fisrt pc build anyone got any tips?

  • heat sink goes over the cpu and the fan goes on top of the heat sink. the heatsink helps move all the warm air from the cpu and push it out using the help of the fan

  • the heat sink part is the copper coils..the metal part..

the fan is just the fan on the top..but all together people call the whole thing a heat sink :)

  • i destroyed my previous CPU by

    1. applying pressure on the heatsink

    2. scratching the CPU

    3. breaking something, still dont know what.

    lol, those were the days
