Perhaps it's better if someone now takes on the expense of a new car who may not be able to reach the end payment? 5 years ago home depot was a fast growing company with 30% annual growth. They would have kept growing at that rate even with 50% taxes. Bush gave a speech how cutting taxes would help their growth. Peter, I think a bigger and more obvious reason many companies are failing is their decrease in income. Yes taxes are too high and there's way too much regulation, but the reason most companies are in this position is that their business models, investments, projections etc were based on unsustainable consumer spending. we do, industrial hemp was one of the most cultivated plants IN THE WORLD up until the 1800's i think. industrial hemp is very viable, you cant get high off of it, its a weed so its easy to grow, AND you can make TONS AND TONS of products out of it. shampoo, cooking oil, car oil, gasoline, chap stick, shirts, rope, paper THINK OF ALL THE JOBS!!!! but no, cannabis is wrong BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT SAYS IT IS!!!!!!!!

Within the next few years, the printing press policies of the fed will trigger hyperinflation and a dumping of US currency. The US will no longer be able to float it's debt and will be forced to default. All expenditures will have to come from taxation, which the US will be in no position to pay much of. Rather than reduce government, even more money will be printed instead and price controls will be imposed, resulting in massive shortages, rationing and a black market for actual capitalism.

This system wont change because it works for the politicians. These guys don't have to fix problems they only have to tell everyone that their is a problem and they are working on fixing it. Then everyone opens their wallets - like my unborn great-grandchildren - and says have at it. If Obama really wanted this system to change he could have made at least ONE good move by now.
