Ok, I found the vids of your trailer on your channel. Wow! I also saw the patch on your coat. 2/75th here, '83 - '85 at Ft Lewis, then abroad till ets. -subscribed
HOLY SMOKES! That BOT (Bug Out Trailer) ROCKS! I never considered that approach before but it makes perfect sense. If you have the room in the garage, just keep everything stored in a "hitch and go" rig. I particularly like that it is a smaller trailer with a narrower wheelbase which makes it much easier to maneuver. If the tow vehicle makes it through a tight spot then the smaller trailer is a no-brainer. I want that rig!!!
These kind of trailers are very popular in Australia. I have a friend down under who uses his all the time in the bush. Much better than the U.S. Pop Up (Folding Trailer)
what a great bug out set up... I am currently casting for a documentary for the learning channel... and I think you would be a great fit for our documentary... I can provide more info via email: castinggcf@gmail.com thanks! diana
I love your set up! I wish you could do a video on dual sport motorcycle BOV's. A diesel bike would work in case of emp's a good redundant system straped on your truck while pulling the trailer. Great video and never quit!
@BugOutVehicles Nothing crazy about being prepared. I keep my tank half full with a BOB and several survival items in the trunk. People said I was pretty smart after the wildfires here in Austin/Bastrop and I had to leave at 2 in the morning.
How did the van off the grid trip turn out? Find anything new you need to add for making it a little more comfortable or find you could have done without? A AAR would be great. Keep safe.
Hey Gary , just wondering do you store any camo type spray paint in cans --- there are some spots on the BOV that you might want to tone down in a SHTF ... Just a thought ... God bless ...
@BugOutVehicles I'm hoping in the next year or two I'll find a local M416 or similar 1/4 ton that is in good shape. The Adventure Trailers are nice but rather pricey. Let me know if you ever bug out to the NE. Take it easy.
@snakeii0 Thanks for the comment. The adventure trailers are very nice but as you stated earlier to rich for my blood. If I'm ever in your neck of ther woods i will look you up. Take care.

Gary when you decide to downsize let us know what you decided to keep and why & why not. I would definitely keep the van.
