The book of Luke in English does very much appear to say Yahshua died on the day before sabbath and was raised the first day after the sabbath, so this would be Friday and Sunday. What does the Aramaic Bible say about what days he died and was raised?
@mrlas777 Which, by the way, you ARE aware that you must actually go to Israel for one of those feasts, right? (Succoth) What kind of God could actually expect me to go and do that, when I can barely afford my house payment each month? There is nothing practical about this system at all. Also, I work nights, so "new moons" are completely out too.
@mrlas777 The only correct way to keep time is a way that can tell me when I need to leave for work, when I need to pay my bills, and matters that most normal people have. I don't "keep" sabbath, cause if I did I would never get a job. Since God gave me a job, (He is the provider), then it is insanity to say that I won't work just to keep a particular day off. I get three days off, I really don't care which days they are. Also I would never get vacation time enough to go to Israel, or the money.
Michael you are counting from the wrong Sabbath. One does not count from the regular Sabbath that falls during the days of Unleavened Bread. One counts after the high day Sabbath that falls on the 15th. You need to restudy this!

It's a shame people like this always spend so much time with complicated matters like when sabbaths and feasts occur.
