Is there not freedom of the press in Germany? I would love to get english copies of these papers, not because i am a NEO-NAZI, but to learn more about what life was like in NAZI Germany It's difficult to imagine how a nation came under the spell of a man who professed to be brutal. I think these papers would give great insight to what it was like to be a German citizen in the NAZI era.
@mobilechief The Bush administration was bad, and I think he should be tried as a war criminal, but wasn't Hitler and his administration wasn't the NSDAAP. He did, however, manage to get the country behind his invasions, so to a point, the comparison is valid.
@christo930 No way to compare the bush administration to the hitler regime, Bush even tho he did made some mistakes witch he took responiblty for it, did all what we could do for his country, Hitler was totally opposet. Plus y'all can't acuse Hitler of putting his country in harms way for another country. Thats our main problem were so darn nice.
@rfe8nn2 My overall point was to disagree with this person and point out that while Bush was bad by US standards, he was certainly no Hitler and his administration was certainly not the NSDAP! As for us being so damn nice, ask a victim or in US euphemism speak, collateral damage victim. The US twice screwed over the Iraqi people, first when they encouraged the population to revolt in 92 and then let Saddam go back and punish those people, then again in 03 when we destroyed their country.
@christo930 NO we were so darn nice, we could of let them keep that evil man in charge of that country just to keep locking those no good aholes in prisons for no good reason, worse better yet mass graves, yes we been to nice to those folks, we gave them freedom, we got bullets. Sorry thats how I feel.
@christo930 Man, oh man, somethings wrong with u man, comparing, Saddams Iraq with the U.S.of A. U better not be from america lol, because anyone who makes that type of comparison, don't understand how lucky you to be living here, Last time I check, all the Bush haters never our still here, and one of them made President. Sorry dude, again u don't know how lucky you are.
@rfe8nn2 The point went right over your head. It's hard for someone who's house was bombed and who lost relatives to see us as their rescuers
Yes, i do know how lucky I am. Even a poor American (ot more generally a westerner) lives a better and longer life than most of the humans that have ever lived through all of history.
@christo930 I see your point, but ur agument don't make sense. Because we an't living under saddams Iraq or Hitlers Germany, so I can't say I would be happy about it. But if we were living under those conditions, I would hope someone from the outside would help us out, even if it means suffering from bombs. I would say its life, but at lease we could bury our love ones instead of losing them forever in mass graves. Keep in mine before we invaded, families were already split apart, he was taken
@christo930 to secrete jails and killing those he didn't like and ploting them in mass graves, so again I would wish somebody help us and heard our cries. Thats how I feel. Im sorry that folks lost there lives because of the bombing but wouldn't be sorry for getting rid of there other terrior, Saddam.
@rfe8nn2 I just try to put myself in the position of others. Even if my life was hard, but I had my family, I think I would be angry if the people who were "freeing" me, happened to "accidentally" kill my family members or in some cases, whisk them away to foreign lands in a jail cell being tortured with no legal counsel, no charges and no notification. And now it's spilling over here, the 4th amendment basically went out the door over the summer by a supreme court ruling on an Indiana law.
@christo930 No u was just trying to say theres no such difference between a democratic replubic wish give folks the right to speak out against there own government, and a facist government who don't give a damn about there own people. U gotta be blind not to see that. One more thing before u can put ur self in that postition y'all gotta live it. Dang nobody knows how it feels to know that a government can take a member of ur family and for no good reason and never get to see them ever again.
@rfe8nn2 Look what happens to you when you try to speak out against your own gov, you get beat up and tazed. If you think we anything like the gov likes to tell us, or that we used to be, you are very naive.
@christo930 Lol thats light campare to what the Iraqis went through with saddams Iraq, at lease ur safe from the police making u disapeare. Never compare or complain, untill u real felt the pain of Iraqis during the Saddam era. Plus don't ya remember Bush an't in office anymore, and we didn't have to force him out by force, we get to vote them out of office, plus we got term limits. So count ur self lucky for that, because if no body had the balls of knocking saddam out, he would still be there.
@rfe8nn2 So you want us to be compared to Iraq? How about the benchmark we use be our own ideals. We are not just falling short of them, we are miles behind them.
@christo930 No, I just want u to stop equating Saddams Iraq to the U.S.of A. Yes were not perfect but to try to say we would see things a same way the Iraqis do, we gotta see the two types of governments they live with. Thats how u can tell whats in there hearts of those peoples.
@christo930 Akin to Germany, after ww2, when the red army took over germany. One oppressive regime for another ur probley right, its sad in away, what choice do u have. Just gotta pray that its not gonna happen that way, hope the people there knows there is a third choice that doesn't involve both evils.
@rfe8nn2 I think the only reason we went there was for the oil production. Conventional oil peaked sometime between 2005-2010 and they knew that was coming and it is believed that 10mb/d of oil could be produced cheaply in iraq and can help make up for the lost production in places like the north sea and cantarell etc.
@christo930 I just wrap it up like this, ur so blinded by ur hated of the U.S, government that, you and other lefties forget your own princibles, ( even tho u don't like the pres still gotta follow ), when folks our opressed and need our help, gotta help them out one way or another, even if u dislike the guy leading the charge. Y'all could always find another reason to defeat him. I bet u hate the libya afare as well.
@rfe8nn2 I am actually a libertarian, a position that most closely aligns with the founding fathers. I love this country, but that doesn't mean we don't make mistakes and that crooked men don't sometimes occupy our highest gov. Look at FDR, he had no regard for the constitution. There are a lot of brutal dictators in world, this one just happened to a) Be unable to develop the massive oil resources of Iraq and b) wanted to sell it for Euros
@christo930 So ur saying we shouldn't of been involve with Iraq in the first place, speaking of the sanctions against them. Plus there was no need of worry of any revange attacks from the guy because what we did to him in 91. There was a reason why he was enemy #1 since that year, because if we lead up he would of found a way to get back @ us. Remember who saddam was now.
@rfe8nn2 I think we should have taken him out in 91. The Bush administration rallied the people in Iraq as if we were going to take their backs, and then after they spoke and acted out against Saddam H. and his Bath party, we didn't back them up and a great deal of them were imprisoned and or executed. While it was certainly better for the US economy to have simply pushed him back into his territory, it was a long-term mistake.
@christo930 Yea true that would of been a better situation to do so, its alot harder to get folks to trust after that. A hostage would be more timmed to help in there own resue, if they fear getting killed because of it.
@christo930 Let me also finish with this, I truely respect your side of the debate, and don't plan treading on ur rights, and I truely believe u feel the same way. No matter what we believe along we all respect other views and treat each other a same, we all will do fine ;).
@rfe8nn2 I truly hope I have not come across as disrespectful. Most people in the comment section just like to fight,, but I have learned quite a bit from people and some have learned from me. I also enjoy the discussions and try to present my position in a way that isn't offensive to people and I recognize that I am not right about everything and what I do know, I might not know correctly in every detail.
@christo930 Nope u haven't, you just giving ur own opionion, and we could always agree to disagree when we see things differently. Some times when we speak from our heart we ofter can come out sounding disrespectfull, but don't mean to be, just how I feel. At lease we can agree with that point, its always nice when we don't cross that line between disagreement and hurtfull reactions.
U get a few nuts out there, but its good have it all out there for histroy sake, plus as they say, the ones who don't learn from history, are deem to repeat it.
@rfe8nn2 They were wiped out soon after Hitler gained the Chancellorship. Nazi-ism or Fascism are both right-wing authoritarian ideologies, not left wing.
@christo930 Well theres a better case that facism is, but I don't see it that clear with nazism. Thats probley because there platform wasn't about conservistism or liberalism, but about racism/ nationalism socialism in one. But would agree it probley lend towards the right because they needed them more.
"Joachim Stephan Kramer" (1968) is General Secretary of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and head of the Berlin office of the European Jewish Congress. seriously why can`t jews JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP?I`m freaking tired of hearing their fucking complains all the fucking time!can`t you see they are the only one who complains about all that?damn..i wish we could get rid of them when it was the perfect time to do it!!!
