  • This song is awesome! Any chance you can send this to me?

  • a nice variation

  • I love this version of TDTWWA. Such a gloomy and bleak track. Definitely and good transition from the TDS era.

  • The Fragile is a beautiful album, but can't live up to Broken/Fixed or The Downward Spiral.

  • I highly and humbly disagree.

Sure, Broken/Fixed and The Downward Spiral were both agressive and intelligent but they just don't touch the level of emotion and personal being that was put into The Fragile.

  • Broken/Fixed is a true Industrial album. Al J was behind some of it, on how it came so aggressive. and TDS was pure electronica, nothing can come close to it.

The biggest let down with The Fragile to me, was that you had some great opening tracks, but then some that I ussually skipped over, sure it's a great album, but could'nt been better. I stopped buying NIN albums after that one, though I can admit I really enjoyed The Slip

  • Didn't know that Al was behind some of Broken/Fixed. That would explain alot, haha. Even though a lot of the agression also came from Trent trying to brake away from TVT Records, and fighting that battle. I still haven't watched the Broken film, and I've heard it's one of the sickest, most horrible films ever made: more reason for me to watch it!

But...to be let down by The Fragile. I don't know, man. Believe it or not, it was The Fragile that made me fall in love with NIN.

For some reason, I'm kinda in the middle of you two =P I fell in love with NIN for the first disk of The Fragile, and a bit of the second, to the point where it's inspired a novel on my part. But the pictures some of this music can make me imagine are simply...incredible.

Which is why I MUST have a copy of this song!

  • The single shouldn't cost that much, I don't remember how much I paid for it, but, I don't remember it being too costly.

I'd say around $15, maybe. But I doubt it'd be even that much.

And yeah, haha, it's weird that you're between the posts like that :P, I noticed a mistake in one of my posts: "That's the one song" should have been "That's the one *album*."

But, like I said, that's the one album I connect the most with. Awesome that it inspired you to write a novel, I'm a writer too.

  • (continuing from last post) I had bought TDS as my first NIN album, and didn't really connect with it that much. Later on, as my first love and I were going through hell with each other, I found The Fragile, and the rest is history.

For me, I connected COMPLETELY with The Fragile, and didn't want to put it down for a second. That's the one song that represented every emotion that I felt for that girl, and it was like Trent was saying everything out of my mouth. It was perfect.

  • In conclusion, the reason why The Fragile is my favorite major studio album release, is because I connected so much with it. I still love just about everything else that Trent has done, though.

  • Ahh i see now. That's cool. That's kinda how I connected to Numan's Dance album so easily. My Brother's Time, Cry the Clock Said, and Subway Called You had an effect on me. You should check that album out sometime, if you liked The Fragile. Similar lyrical content, but way diffrent sounds.
