I really wish there was something to this, but these explanations are such utter bullshit if you have any background in neurology. Screw the pseudo-theory, I'd like to see some empirical evidence and then I'd be impressed.
THANK YOU so much for giving us this on YouTube! I had a head injury that was slow to heal & sometimes with allergies, the spaciness & confusion resurfaces. I am expecting over time the allergies will vanish also! Thank you from a "skeptic made believer"! :)
This is a very potent tapping process. For all that do not believe, try and open your consciousness and release your paradigm of traditional medicine/healing.
Complete pile of shite: this is about psychological illusion of control, nothing more (which granted, in itself may be effective - a placebo effect if you like). Ignore the pseudo scientific "electro-magnetic field" clap trap, he's talking nonsense.
@lukejmorrison - my partner was prescribed a similar "tapping" technique to alleviate stress. She says it was effective for her - no qualms there. :)
It's the pseudo-scientific rubbish being used to explain this effectiveness that I take issue with .. but feel free to point to a peer-reviewed paper from a legitimate independent scientific body that proves we brandish electromagnetic fields in our hands, etc!
The effectiveness is actually down to the illusion of control, a la meditation.
@psdie8 electro magnetic field? so your saying the Earth just flies around the sun yeh? and is that glue on your fridge magnets?.. open your mind and be positive
@imstm - your sarcasm shines almost as brightly as your spelling. There is a difference between accepted gravitational / magnetic principles and flogging commercial $7.5k training courses, books and DVDs that teach scientifically debunked "applied kinesiology" theories. This is right up there with the Quantum Xrroid Consciousness Interface and Scientology's Electro-psychometer.
@psdie8 i'm not the expert obviously you are, so what do you think works, by the way i wouldn't pay for anything like this i'd hope to learn it for free. I see where you are coming from i just commented without much knowledge. Tell me what you think works and i shall try it
@imstm - no claim to be an expert, but I have a healthy dose of scepticism and a background in physics, so a quick Google reveals this to be another money making scheme that panders to the sick and vulnerable's desire for a magic bullet solution. Having said that, my partner was prescribed a tapping technique and found it useful - I'm confident that's down to the psychology of control over one's body, rather than the pseudo-scientific nonesense espoused here as an explanation :)
Absolutely brilliant. And brilliant to hear it helps trauma patients too. Absolutely amazing. It's incredible - I've tried the technique, and when you try it, and follow his instructions, you find it works. David Weston, it aids in all shock situations.
I don´t know how cientific it is, but i saw cortices helping people in different situation with success!
If the blood pressure is cardio or any no matter, i´m not a doctor i just need doing somithing to help anyone! If you r a doctor help them with your respectable Knoledge.
Petra is telling her BT Fast Aid experience on the german forum. A four year old boy drowing, unconscious and blue face and lips. She did BT Fast Aid (only). He threw up, still unconscious. Then he woke up, then screamed, then sleeping with a strong heart beat when the ambulance arrived. Face color normal!! Paraphrased from my own forum entry on June 20, 2006.
10 year old girl with severe facial burns. She had been at the stove and hit a pot of boiling water that went onto her face. Mom had only done Access, Cortices to her daughter, for quite some time. Five days after the accident her face is totally clear! The other interesting thing, is that she didn't seem to have much emotional trauma about being burned so badly. Her Mom was able to give her BodyTalk Access immediately. - paraphrased from member forum entry June 20, 2006
Paramedic with Access: Cortices used in the ambulance: woman, bitten by multiple fire ants, Anaphylactic shock symptoms, no air restriction though, no other meds involved (clean case story :)
Blood pressure and Heart rate went down the very moment he began tapping the Cortices. Since the patient was on the blood pressure cuff and monitor, it was recorded: her blood pressure had spiked to 170/96 and came down to 140/72 within a couple of breaths. Heart rate went from 108 to 79, immediately.
"The technique is has been demonstrated by EMS Response teams to bring trauma patients out of shock when at the scene of accidents."
Really? What type of shock are you talking about: Hypovolaemic (blood volume loss), Cardiogenic (heart muscle damage), Septic (inflammation from infection), Neurogenic (brain or spinal cord damage), or Anaphylactic (allergic reaction)?
@davidweston Here is a video from a woman who avoided an Anaphylactic shock and going to the hospital by doing Cortices, no EPIPen was needed! Here full symptoms were dealt with in a subsequent Bodytalk Session later on.
Not sure why you need to this when meditation is just as effective... Now if he would just TEST this against a control group as a scientific basis to validate his theory, his hypothesis can be moved forward, otherwise it is all just opinion.
Love it - will try it every morning. I have been tapping since Feb with success. I like the simplicity of thsi. Just did it - very clearing + calming.
the tapping is very light, it's all about the vibration and the intention of storing the changes in the body with the tapping on the heart, not the physical strength which in this case would be counterproductive

You obviously had not had a BodyTalk treatment from a qualified practitioner. I'm not into woo woo stuff, but this is based on science!
