@ServeTruth2u - Will you continue to think that when gas hits 5 or 6 bucks a gallon? And it will. I lived in Dallas when Dart was created and I'm glad I voted the way I did. I live in a much bigger city now with heavy rail and a real subway. Still for Dallas, a city that spreads out for miles, light rail was a good idea. And this is a very 'heavy' light rail. Maybe you don't get out much to see how the rest of the country operates, or for that matter the world.

The intended purpose of the low floor section was too allow for faster boarding of MI passengers more the cyclists.

Actually, the extended sections were intended for bicyclists who after entering the car can stand up their bikes and temporarily affix the wheel to a frame inside the car. Learned that last time I rode!
