@Terra1311 Except a rocket launcher gets 2-3 shots and the pistol gets 20-30 and fires faster. The rocket launcher may be able to kill more than one at a time, but it fires so slowly that one miss means you die. The pistol has no such problem.

@SolaireofAstoria No the Guardian won't be required because what Anet are saying is that any class can fit any role. Give the Guardian a greatsword and they work like a melee dps. Give the necromancer a staff and they act like a support. Each class can help the team in its own way.

@Stumigod I think the Tengu are more likely, since they have a city in Tyria (so they won't need to create new low level content) but they are connected with the story in Cantha, which is where Factions took place. Although, they might not go back to Cantha for a while (if ever), so I could see the Kodan being worked into the playable races before the Tengu.

It's only arena based PvP, it's made to be like an fps style where skill matters. Basically how in an FPS even as you rank up you still have the same speed, damage, health, etc, but you can change aspects of your loadout.
WvWvW, the PvP setting involving MASSIVE battles will be your character at their actual level, stats, gear, abilities, etc.
@RasmusKudahl Considering structured PvP already gives you the best stated items, the only thing you "work" for are cosmetic items. Basically, PvE has a currency called Karma where you can purchase different things, from cosmetics, transmutation stones, and more. PvP has a similar currency, Glory, that can be used to purchase things as well. Ideally, it would be PvP armors only obtained with glory and other related things.
Those that have not played guildwars 1 doesn't understand that getting max level in one day only allows for specific parts of the game and from playing guildwars 1 when I would be getting maxed lvl in one day only allows u to do certain things, which ends up being quite boring and only allows you to practice in pvp.
@elrith1 That's a shame since GW 2 level cap is 80, not 20.. Arenanet have admitted guild wars 1 had LOTS of mistakes throughout the game.. I HATED guild wars one, but trust me, guild wars 2 is on a whole other level to every other game out there.

@nejustinas32 You get something to let you breathe water as you enter the game - otherwise you are missing out on all the underwater-fun as you are levelling. Sounds even better to me.
@GaNK1n1t Yep, going to roll a Bounty Hunter, heard there is a lot of good story in that class. I really want to uncover the secret of Revan. There was a leak of a mission on Drommund Kaas and you must uncover the secrets of the mask. Not looked at the leak as it is a huge story spoiler which i hate.
I think Nar Shaada will be my favourite planet, a lot of good missions there it seems from the testers, a lot of crime/backstabbing a perfect place for my BH and Smuggler
@ctagg3 There is no beta, and anyone who wants to give you a key is trying to SCAM you. Arenanet will open the beta later (early next year we hope) but no announcements yet. @SKILLErElvurn Arenanet has said they're aiming for people to be able to play this on mid-range comps. Personally im not sure what would define a mid range comp but i assume basically any modern computer will be able to play gw2 =D
@SKILLErElvurn Arenanet have repeatedly stated that they are aiming for mid-range computers, and are optimizing the game to run on machines like that. Now you won't be able to run everything on high, but you will be able to play smoothly. If you want ultra-high settings you might need some sort of scary alienware rig. :)

@SKILLErElvurn Hard to say without seeing the optimization. If you could squeeze out medium-settings out of WoW I would have said hands-down YES, but on low-low settings on WoW you might still have issues. However, GW2 might allow for non-use of some textures and shading that would allow the game to run even on my little netbook - we don't know yet. We know they are trying to make it accessible to everyone. I will make a clip about that later on my channel.
I'd like to add, since no one's mentioned it yet, that at 10:09 you'll see me use the Engineer's rez skill "Smelling Salts" (that is what its called!) and it resurrects multiple downed NPCs. It was very handy in such high difficulty regions.

Thumbs up if your only interested in Charr and Asura! I for one am a big fan of technologically advanced races, if we compare this game to WoW the Charr seem like Worgen who have orc-like architecture and Goblin like Technology (explosives) and at the same time a stealth based class, in this game it looks like if combined it will have devastating results due to what i heard about the game
Its a useless concept. Intead of scaling they should have a couple of different bosses, one of which is almost impossible if you are not close to a hundred players, and some that only require 10. That way, one can kill some more easily than others, and some would be almost impossible and reward much fame to the players that bring it down.
@N3CR1S This is one of the LITTLE bosses, as they have said multiple times, I can tell you now there will be much tougher bosses later in the game. Also with added dungeons (which are instanced) Arenanet will live up to the reputation provided in Guild Wars: Eye of the North for some very hard, optional boss fights.
@xesonik12 I get that, but the cons are greater than the pros. Taking away all sense of achivement, glory and fame (well, not all, but most) from killing hard bosses is worse than enabling 10 players to have fun ON EVERY BOSS. Those 10 players should try to find a boss they can manage instead of getting every boss scaled to their capability.
Why stop at 10? why not scale all the way down to 1? I mean, some are antisocial. Why stop at1? why not scale acording to gear aswell?
@bloodysand29 Anet has said that they are looking into porting for consoles but the problem with it would be in game communication how do people type in chats, they probably won't have it available for ps3 or xbox on release but maybe after launch they may decide to do it.

I don't know how much I like the idea of being max lvl for PvP from day one.
Some of the fun in mmorpgs is having worked for something and finally getting it.
I just hope there is some sort of PvP rewards to work for, some sort of PvP armor skins would be awesome.

You can't empty the slot to my knowledge.
So it's very VERY unfair to have a game with 50% of the game under water to have a breathe meter.

@osmium000 You get max level for PvP specifically, so everyone in PvP are the same level and have the same equips available... Not PvE.

@ctagg3 There is no beta, and anyone who wants to give you a key is trying to SCAM you. Arenanet will open the beta later (early next year we hope) but no announcements yet. I made a clip about the release and alpha (ongoing), beta (upcoming) and other things a few days ago. Feel free to check it out.

@SKILLErElvurn Arenanet has said they're aiming for people to be able to play this on mid-range comps. Personally im not sure what would define a mid range comp but i assume basically any modern computer will be able to play gw2 =D

@SKILLErElvurn Arenanet have repeatedly stated that they are aiming for mid-range computers, and are optimizing the game to run on machines like that. Now you won't be able to run everything on high, but you will be able to play smoothly. If you want ultra-high settings you might need some sort of scary alienware rig. :)

@SagelikeOne Thankyou:) Not to bring in any game arguements, but wow seems to run smoothly on my laptop with the graphics on the lowest settings, do you think Guild Wars 2 would be runnable on lowest settings for me too such as wow dose?:)

@SKILLErElvurn Hard to say without seeing the optimization. If you could squeeze out medium-settings out of WoW I would have said hands-down YES, but on low-low settings on WoW you might still have issues. However, GW2 might allow for non-use of some textures and shading that would allow the game to run even on my little netbook - we don't know yet. We know they are trying to make it accessible to everyone. I will make a clip about that later on my channel.

I'd like to add, since no one's mentioned it yet, that at 10:09 you'll see me use the Engineer's rez skill "Smelling Salts" (that is what its called!) and it resurrects multiple downed NPCs. It was very handy in such high difficulty regions.

@TheDefinedGamer How is that a crappy answer? That's the best answer you could ever hope for from a gaming company. I would, by far, prefer to play a finished and complete product that has as little game-breaking bugs as possible. And if that takes months and months, well, I'm okay with that.

Thumbs up if your only interested in Charr and Asura! I for one am a big fan of technologically advanced races, if we compare this game to WoW the Charr seem like Worgen who have orc-like architecture and Goblin like Technology (explosives) and at the same time a stealth based class, in this game it looks like if combined it will have devastating results due to what i heard about the game

WHY SCALING?!
Its a useless concept. Intead of scaling they should have a couple of different bosses, one of which is almost impossible if you are not close to a hundred players, and some that only require 10. That way, one can kill some more easily than others, and some would be almost impossible and reward much fame to the players that bring it down.

@N3CR1S This is one of the LITTLE bosses, as they have said multiple times, I can tell you now there will be much tougher bosses later in the game. Also with added dungeons (which are instanced) Arenanet will live up to the reputation provided in Guild Wars: Eye of the North for some very hard, optional boss fights.

@xesonik12 I get that, but the cons are greater than the pros. Taking away all sense of achivement, glory and fame (well, not all, but most) from killing hard bosses is worse than enabling 10 players to have fun ON EVERY BOSS. Those 10 players should try to find a boss they can manage instead of getting every boss scaled to their capability.
Why stop at 10? why not scale all the way down to 1? I mean, some are antisocial. Why stop at1? why not scale acording to gear aswell?

@bloodysand29 Anet has said that they are looking into porting for consoles but the problem with it would be in game communication how do people type in chats, they probably won't have it available for ps3 or xbox on release but maybe after launch they may decide to do it.
