Charisma should always be 1, you can tag or level up speech or barter. Who cares if your companions are strong as long as you are. Intelligence helps you get skills quickly in addition to getting more skill points. You want to wait to level 38 to have decent skills? Go ahead.

You might as well take all off of Charisma because all it does it make your companions stronger, then make Strength 7 because you can use power armor, enhancements, and perks to make it 10, and then make Intelligence around 7-8 and put the rest on whatever you want.

This game tends to be a lot better if you have a decent computer, the loading screens are extremely fast, you can overhaul your graphics settings, and mod your game, like adding quests, companions, Armor and weapon mods, and retextures/reskins and the list goes on. and its only 20 bucks new at game stop. plus it had steam support, so all updates (not that there are any now) for you, when your not playing the game, so when you want to play you dont have to wait 15-20 mins for some stupid patch.

I would start on FO 3 because new vegas is a lot harder and you should have some knowledge of the game before playing it. Also heads up getting it for PC wouldn't be a bad idea because PC has cheat codes if you like to cheat.

I just did a playthrough where I went north from the start, through the cazadors, and straight to vegas. yoinked everything from the silver rush (if you save and restart your console everything on the tables resets in FULL CONDITION, also it allows you to buy a pulse gun from them everytime garunteed)
