  • 2 Corinthians 9: vers.7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; "not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver. This means you can give to; and what ever you want; aka purposeth in ur heart.

  • Tithe teaching is a curse, and those who teach it for the NT believer are false teachers. It is those who advocate it who have no biblical understanding, and are as phony as a 3 dollar bill.

  • most people who seek out this video are so far off in understanding the power of tithing. Experts of spirit in tight clothing arguing about whether it is right for a church to ask for money using a book translated and doctored many times over. C'mon! Keep it simple people.....the more simple you are the closer you are to god. Give 10% of yourself or your finances to a cause spawned from love which helps humanity. Sit back and watch the wonders. easy as that, wham skat skitattle. Love is God :-)

  • The NT stresses giving. The saints don't need "mandated " training being guilt tripped into tithing. They need to follow the Holy Spirit and give as God would have them to give. Tithing is part of the Law and often encourages self-righteousness and covetousness amongst those who do.

I would agree with ONE thing he says, those who don't give at all, should check their heart on the matter.

  • their are many examples of people being blessed in many ways without giving anything

  • the tithe was never money in the first place. it was never for the gentiles, the tithe was connected to the atonement. Jesus is the high priest, he is our atonement.

  • ALL preachers who teach tithing will miss the Rapture!!! its no point telling the people to come to a spirit filled church then you ask for money lol where the spirit?? and my fav line is if tithing is true then what about circumcism do you teach that since its an old testament law?? thats when your see if you try it there speechless!!

  • Exodus Chapter 20:Vers.17 the tenth commandment: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

  • $5000.00 TO ANYBODY THAT CAN PRODUCE ONE SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE WHERE GOD COMMANDS OR ADMONISHES A GENTILE (NON-JEW) TO TITHE!!!!!!

  • While the princple of tithing is good to a degree b/c many people need structure in giving. However to tell today's believer that tithing is mandatory is a FLAT out lie. There is no chapter or verse in the new covenant to support tithing today. Money was NEVER an acceptable tithe. 99% of churches today don't hold to the feast days, don't give ALL the tithe away in the 3rd yr, they surely DON'T stop tithing in 7th yr for rest. The tithe was land based. A black pastor defending tithes no suprise.

  • @Wormanatti Using Abraham's tithe & Jacob's story are very weak attempts to defend it. Those were not under the law. I will wear any tithe teaching pastor out with all bible not ideas of men. We are spirit led new creations thru & by Christ. The law is no longer our schoolmaster. They that are led of the spirit are sons & daughters of God. It amazes me that none of these pimps never can answer simple questions. What scripture does God give you to accept money as tithes? They had money then liars

  • @Wormanatti

I think people need to be more submissive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

You can set a pattern down for someone and make giving a habit, but that's man-made obedience, not fruit of the Spirit.

Other than that, I agree with you. Tithes were not money. Israel did not Tithe every year. People who didn't own land did not Tithe. Tithing is not for Gentiles of the New Covenant.

The Church today does not teach the Biblical Tithe, and today's Tithe is not Biblical.

  • THITHING, NO absolutely NOT! Tithing is a form of stealing from being a cheerful giver. We freely give to help the poor, pay church workers for the jobs they do, and take care of the upkeep of the church. That money should come from cheerful giving NOT from Tithing. AMEN!

  • He has an Australian accent...he must be from God.

  • I wish all Tithe teachers would be straightforward and honest.

They might as well say "Pay 10% of your income or God doesn't want you!"

  • @blueskunk12 They do say that!!

  • Mike has a fancy accent and a line of bull a mile long just like the kind of tricky kind of rhetoric that I've heard all of my life and frankly am completely and utterly sick and tired of it. I would like to hear the gospel for once from these tithing preachers and not all this grandiose do it yourself and please God from your carnal nature kind of doctrine that denies the love and the grace of God.
