I think the problem is, Hold your colour wasDnB. An amazing album don't get me wrong, but many of those tracks were played over and over in raves, as they were strictly dnb tracks. After that they have been combining rock and DnB, and for me it works. You won't hear the tracks played at raves but seriously, if you havn't heard The Island played live then your missing out. Just my op. I'd love to see in the next album with more rock/dnb and rock/dub. Just makes them unique in my eyes.

@RWL2012 I think In Silico was by far the best album. They reinvented themselves as a live band and combined rock influences with DnB. I saw them at Brixton Academy a few years ago and this song sounds so much better with live guitar/bass along with the rest of their songs.

I agree Immersion was shit though, shame because Pendulum are the only proper electronic/rock band.

because there were two versions. i had the older version which had this tune and still grey on it. the newer version had blood sugar and axle grinder. i much prefer the old album.

oh and a nugget of info for anyone reading this. Rob Swire and Gareth Mcgrillen originaly started out in a rock band, it was only after they went to a rave and heard D&B that they thought they would give it a go. this is why there later albums have such a mix between electro-rock and D&B.
