I never understood why these guys haven't blown up with the likes of Coldplay/Foo Fighters/Muse/Placebo & those other type bands. They certainly have a strong fan base but never exactly known in the mainstream....its odd. JJ72 were another great irish band though they got fucked over

@TheTvrulesthenation You just named 4 different bands from 4 different genres... It's obvious, it's the same with every band, if they aren't good enough they don't get huge. Muse have Matt Bellamy, classically trained pianist, voted 16th best guitarist in the world years ago, god knows where he is now. He writes every single piece of music Muse play, he's got one of the biggest vocal ranges in music. Muse are a good few leagues above these guys tbh.

Muse in general have extremely talented members however being good on your respected instrument is not synomonous with good music. Similarly there is an almost inverse relationship between an artists talent and popularity, many of the best on their instruments aren't recognised universally but only in their genre. One only has to look to jazz to see this

Also i was merely pointing out an observation that those 4 rock bands who started out during the same 5 (giveor take) years of one another all blew up in popularity to insane levels, Oddly enough Ash who are just as unique in their sound didnt take off to anywhere near the level of popularity & i compared this to another irish band JJ72.
