As far as i am aware, the Pontiac G8 GXP, Vauxhall VXR8 and CSV CR8 are all designed and manufactured in Australia as the HSV Clubsport R8, but with different badges (the Pontiac also has a different front end, and maybe different flutes IIRC). They all have the Chev developed 6.2L LS3, but the yank and pom versions have the option for an auto box, which i don't think you can get in Australia.
@furiousgtz i dont think they should be compared, the bmw is sofisticated whilst this just is complete bonkers. they adress different audiences. i'd pick the bathurst over a M5 any day though ;)

That red Ute is gorgeous.........I've a 09 G8 GT...........I'm glad we got a chance to get these cars here contrary to the cookie cutters that the rest of the US seems to think we need. The Aussies makes some kick ass rwd vehicles.....they also have the Ford Falcon XR-6 that is the competitor to the Holden Commodore series.
Very nice guys, I gotta say that ute is actually pretty slick - and Im usually not a big fan of crazy paint. And of course the VXR8 are just monsters. I should be taking delivery of my G8 on this side of the pond before the end of the month, can't wait!

yeah it had supercharger before but because last video was from behind you couldnt hear it but when he comes towards us turn up your speaker and you should be able to hear it...its a wortec switchable exhaust..now running 590-600bhp...faster than before!
