I'm gonna raise hell here, but I love the 12V Cummins. Can't find a better engine when it comes to reliability, economy, and relative cheapness to mod. Only engine that can really compare would be the 7.3L Powerstroke.

the truck is straight piped ...however that is not my point the reason the flames came out of the exhaust is not because it blew up.. (cummins dont blow up....they break transmissions first) ..it is because the un-burned diesel----also known as the "thick black smoke" made contact with the high heat situation because the truck was stationary and did not receive its usual 80mph winds to cool the exhaust therefore the exhaust pipe got hot and ignited the un-burned fuel..as we all know as "Coal" :)
