I really loved he music, I was only 9 at that time and thought who could have composed this music it was so impressive for me even though i did not have any idea about music, but love that owsome music. Thanks AR. Rahman. I think AR. Rahman had not changed his name from Dilip Kumar to AR. Rahman at that time if am true. Acutally he remained Dilip Kumar at that time i think, but not sure.

Very moving! This is ARRahman's original, pure version including the ending , made when he still called himself Dileep Kumar, I became a lifetime fan right away. For years after ARR became famous, I would think: ARR's really good, but he won't win my vote till he can compose as well as 'that Dileep Kumar guy' with his wonderful tune for the Spirit of Unity Concerts. Then I found out they're the same person. lol. I feel very fortunate to belong to the same country as him.

This used to be the signature music for the "Spirit of Unity" concerts organised by Madras Telugu Academy. A soothing music composed by ARR.
