Yes a quick knock down ???? but all the good done by the quick knock down was lost on kicking the door. It make us all look like we have no idea what we are doing on the fire ground. Take your time and get the saw and we all look like we belong on the fire ground..... Officers take note....if you loose a boot in the door what the hell you going to tell the Chief ... you let it happen.
Wow the officer in the red helmet should be a lot more careful! He almost got burned and hit with the tream. I would have also pulled a back up line to keep the fire coming out the garage door down to a minimum. It got bigger than I would have prefered. I was a fire exploreer cadet at one time and that is what the department I was with told us they would do in your type of garage fire. I do not know if the preacticed what they preached though. Why didn't the saw get brought out sooner & used?
I aint hating on yall at awesome knockdown but imma tell ya something i learned imma vol fire fighter and if you do a v cut with a K12 and take the pike and push in and pull out that whole door will come down stay safe brothers
Damn. Knockdown in 1 minute 3 seconds and the experts here are pointing out minor, inconsequential things. Those minor moves can be handles by the Chief back at the house. The main job was to knock down the fire. They did that well. Maybe you critics should post some of your department vids so they can be scrutinized.

yea kicking the burning peice of debris will do it, then it flashes and hey mom look no eyebrows...O and I LOVE the guys trying to kick in the garage door...IM THE MAN IM GOING TO LOOK GOOD ON CAMERA KICKING IN A GARAGE DOOR...bet your the ones who drive around and tell all the ladies how you busted in a door, saved 5 kids, 2 dogs, and a bird... and O HEY LOOK THAT GARAGE THAT YOU JUST SOAKED DIDNT HAVE ANY FIR EXTENTION WHERE YOU SPRAYED WATER yea, definitly fine training happening in your dept
Thank you fd16ns I get a kick of these sog armchair quarterbacks I have seen other videos where they want to know where the command post rehab is.Half these people with biggest comment have been to very little they read about it in a textbook not from real life grow up fire geek morons!
Im sure all of you are perfect, have never done anything stupid on a fireground before, and have always done everything by the book. These guys did a fine job. Fires out. Get over yourselves.
